This shield works really well, however, it's not built to be used with a normal microphone stand. (see images of the stand it's attached to). I was able to make it work with a couple of washers, but it's a McGuyver job and I wouldn't call it secure, but it'll do. aside from that, it does the job it was made to do.

Thank you for this wonderful product! Good quality. I needed something that would block the glass behind the mic and this did the job. As you can see I have it mounted upside and no problem. I will test it in my next session in an hour. I wish it was a tiny bit bigger but it's ok this way it won't cover the artists face and I can see them.

This "isolation panel" presumes you have a mic stand with a threaded, 3/8" male end like is more often found in Europe. Most American mic stands end with the 5/8ths male, tube-end. The included hardware seems to affix the mic clip to the thin slot fine, but nothing in the box mounts the unit to a mic stand. You must purchase an additional adapter. (see uploaded picture) The directions are less than helpful. Instead of showing a clear side view, they show assembly of black hardware against the black of the foam - impossible to read. (I've included pictures.) But beside the fact that it's missing a 5/8th female to 3/8th male adapter needed by half of the planet, it is almost perfectly acoustically transparent, meaning it stops almost nothing from leaking into your mic. I held it between me and my studio monitor and "maybe" it attenuated high frequencies above 6kHz which matches the isolation performance of a sheet of printer paper. So it does nothing. The product refers to itself as a "pop filter." I'd agree. It would be far more effective placing it BETWEEN the singer and the microphone instead of behind the microphone.

Ich habe mir den Schallschutz als Zusatz zu meinem Mikrofon gekauft um damit Voiceovers zu machen. Die Montage war super einfach. Der Schallschutz sieht sehr wertig aus und lässt sich gut formen. Somit kann man etwas die Stärke der Dämpfung steuern. Für meine Aufgaben ein super Teil. Es wird auch nicht oft bewegt oder demontiert daher kann ich dazu keine Angaben machen. Ich würde es für meine Zwecke auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen. Preis Leistung passt.

I don't know if you're a tech geek like me, but for my filming for all of my social media and for my therapy business, I like to have all the things that make me feel professional. This guard sits behind my RØDE mic and blocks off outside noise giving my recording the best possible outcome without me needing to be in a full on professional studio. (I have been inside a professional studio and had so much fun! The clarity and sound quality was phenomenal) This guard is the next best thing if you're doing things "at home". I absolutely recommend this if you are a semi professional social media buff and / or use a mic for your business in any way. Fabulous!

Mon fils l'utilise quand il commente ses vidéos et il en est très satisfait ! Le montage n'est pas forcément évident car il faut accrocher les différentes parties du bouclier et on a peur de casser un morceau mais une fois monté, tout est ok !
