Wonderful clay replacement for pottery wheel use to create pieces.
I got this for use on a pottery wheel with my kids. So far it has worked out well with the little ones practicing the processes to create pieces. Advice, wedge (to remove air bubbles look up) and watch how much water is added to the wheel on the piece while working with it. Just enough for hands to be a little slick. Kids love it and we don’t have to look for a kiln service or buy one as of yet. Will be buying more because it works as advertised. I will update with photos of finished pieces in the future.

Good product for those without a kiln.
Works great on the pottery wheel. Does not dry out too quickly and is great for beginners.

Good clay
Arrived as excellent clay. Started to dry and crack as we used it - so don't expect an easy smooth surface.

Good clay but not the best for hand modeling
This clay seems pretty quality, although I definitely wouldn't suggest buying it for hand modeling. It's possible to mold, but it cracks a lot and you have to use a lot of water. I definitely think it was more made for a wheel

Ruined by mold
5 lbs of white clay went completely moldy after opening. Even when stored in a vacuum sealed bag. Ver disappointed. I don’t want to open the other two colors now.

Most similar to traditional pottery clay of brands I've tried
I am super pleased with this clay. Have tried multiple other brands & this is the most like traditional pottery clay. Came out of bag soft but not wet. Look forward to seeing how it dries and how it takes to adding embellishments & carving in leather hard phase.

First attempt working with clay. I read a lot of reviews about the product cracking so I was a little worried. I made 4 small pots and zero cracks so I ordered more, make 4 more and still no cracks! They are dried, painted and glazed a couple of weeks ago and are strong with no chips or cracks anywhere. It’s easy to work with and dries great even with small handles on a few of them. Not sure why some were having problems. Highly recommend.

The grey and terra cotta were fine, but the white clay was a package of mold. Not useable.

Everything made with it cracks while drying. Never had such a crappy material.
