Easy to use for beginners!
This is a wonderful beginner plasma cutter. I was skeptical until doing some research and finding out that some are contact start the surface you are cutting has to be bare metal. This one can cut painted and rusted metal which is exactly what I needed. It’s easy to set up and worked perfectly first try. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a great beginner plasma cutter at a great price!

Impressive!
WOW would be an understatement! Grabbed this little plasma cutter, because I got tired of the angle grinder. Should have bought this one a LONG time ago. Cut through an 8-inch .128 bar stock like absolute butter using 240v at 30 amps, and without the mess! Definitely for the garage mechanic or automotive work. Absolute must have for metal work! Pairs very nicely with my Hobart Mig welder. Incredibly happy!

Bang for the buck!!!
Im not a pro, just a hobbiest, so I dont use it day in and day out. That said, I've had a few of the budget plama cutters and in each case, I went to use it and it didn't work which sucks on the weekend when I need to get something done. The Cut 50 hasn't done that to me and works each time I hook it up. Do yourself a favor and get the adapter to use 220. I wouldn't waste your time trying to use 110. Excellent machine. Setting it up with my grinder, benchtop belt sander, and other tools under my truck when Im working is awesome and saves my back from having to get up and out to get other tools 30+ times a day.

Cluck for the buck, you can't go wrong.
I bought this machine to help offset the cost of buying acetylene bottle refills at $160.00 a pop. Still need the burning rig but the plasma cutter makes quick work of jobs too big for a grinder and too small for a torch. This machine looks to be decent quality (for the price) and was easy to assemble and use. I've only used it once with 110vac so far, it cut 1/4" plate with ease but kicked my 20a breaker. So to eliminate this problem I ran 2 dedicated circuits 1 - 110vac and 220vac circuit. Looking forward to trying the cutter on 220vac

Do not buy this unit, save for a better unit
Do not buy this unit. The customer support for this product is by far the worst I have ever received. I purchased this unit in Jan of 2024 and used it for some light sheet metal cutting 3x using a standard 120v outlet. The first 3x it worked perfect. The 4th time all I could get it to do was spark. I did multiple things to trouble shoot it, including checking the outlet volts , putting a new tip on, etc. I even consulted my son who has a certification in welding. After no success I reached out by email, to the company for product support. I was advised to check the tip, which I had already done, but did it again. Then to check my air pressure and adjust, no change. They then they advised me to adjust my settings. Again I did and sent a email I was compliant. Then they requested I video the machine just sparking as I adjusted the settings and send it to them. Again I did it, remember I had only used it like 3x for light sheet metal, there was no good reason it just quit. Then I was advised to check my outlet voltage and again send a video. After going back and forth for an extensive period of time, never receiving a call and being treated like I never picked up a welder or plasma cutter, I finally sent them an email about supporting their product better and either fixing or exchanging the unit and never heard back. I finally gave up. Let the non working unit sit broken in the garage for a year and a half and pitched it in the garbage.

Aunque corta grueso, el acabado no es el mejor. Aunque por el precio no está mal.

I’m a weekend warrior, not a welding guru. I bought the ARCCAPTAIN plasma cutter to fix my rusty backyard gate and build a fire pit. Spoiler: It’s shockingly easy to use. Here’s the lowdown: Power that doesn’t scare me (but probably should): The dual voltage thing is genius. I plugged it into my garage 110V outlet for thin sheets, then borrowed my neighbor’s 220V when I needed to slice through ½” steel for the fire pit. The “60% duty cycle” jargon basically means it won’t overheat if I take breathers between cuts. I even hacked through an old lawnmower blade like butter. My inner 12-year-old felt powerful. Setup? 30 seconds, tops. I’m the guy who once spent an hour assembling a BBQ grill wrong. But this? The air filter just clicks in, the regulator’s built-in, and the screen tells me exactly what pressure to use (20-40 psi for 110V saved my sanity). No YouTube tutorials needed. Lightweight but doesn’t feel cheap: At 13 lbs, I carried it one-handed to my driveway. The strap helps when I’m climbing ladders to trim metal roofing. Forgot it in the rain once (oops), but it survived — no sparks, no drama. Why the LED screen rules: I wear a clunky welding helmet, but that bright screen is visible through the lens. Adjusting post-flow time (I set it to 8 seconds) stopped the sparks from eating my jeans. The 2T/4T switch is just a button — no cryptic symbols. Felt like using a fancy microwave. Safety stuff I actually trust: The “DON’T power on until the fan stops” warning? Yeah, I tested it. Turned it off mid-project, forgot, then tried restarting — it literally wouldn’t let me until the screen died. Solid failsafe. The TÜV and ANSI certifications are a nice peace-of-mind bonus too.
