I was very impressed with this kit. It not only contained the printed fabric for the bookmarks but also the finishing prodjucts as well. The individual designs are very pretty and quick to stitch,I substitued some variegated floss on a couple and the results are beautiful as well. It was exremely reasonably priced for such a complete kit. Definitely recommend. They make great little gifts for those occasions when you want to give something but not pay too much.

The bookmarks are very clear to see, the floss is good quality, plus- I love the velvet backing that you put in after done stitching- very beautiful!

These bookmarks are beautiful! There seems to be plenty of floss to complete all six, and it is quality floss. There is a felty backing with sticky attachment, giving a pleasing finishing touch. I did have a problem with one of the bookmarks being off—so, yes, I’m one of those who expects perfect products as my money was perfect. SOOO, I got in touch with the manufacturer and I am delighted to say that though they could not replace the one “wonky” bookmark, they gave me a satisfactory solution. Therefore, I still felt that I was able to still give 5 stars—#1—the bookmarks are high quality and beautiful; #2—the customer service, both interaction and resolution were absolutely 100% satisfactory and professional. I plan to order other cross stitch bookmarks by them in the future.

I've almost completed this project and there's a lot that I like about it, but also some things that could be improved. The good: - very simple project with cute designs - came with everything needed, including full skeins of floss - colors were labeled, and some were pre-cut lengths - The pre-printed colors on the bookmarks were volant and easy to see The less-good: - some of the colors were not precut, and i think consistency would have been nice (all full lengths, or all pre-cut lengths) - The color chart was faded on arrival - they only labeled one spot of each pattern with its color, meaning you have to cross reference where else it will be used on faded paper - some colors were not listed on the final pattern - this was easy to assume what colors were needed, but for a beginner could have been confusing - The size is a little large for bookmarks, in my opinion, but this is a very minor complaint and did not effect my review - just a heads up. Notes: - With the size of the bookmarks, I recommend using 3 strands of floss. I did not come close to running out even using more floors like this. - I changed the color suggested for the borders, as bright orange did not aesthetically look nice with them - I chose a deep magenta from my personal floss collection - though the floss is not DMC, it did use the same label numbers, so the thread is very easy to match up to DMC if preferred.

I normally do counted cross stitch, so I was surprised to see the pattern on the fabric. I guess I missed that detail in the description. I decided to keep them anyway because they just look so pretty. I ended up really enjoying making these and honestly, after a tiring days work, I appreciated the pattern being there for me to follow. Tired eyes make mistakes with counted cross stitch sometimes. Once they are complete, you can't see that there was a stamped pattern on it. I think the bookmarks are beautiful once completed and nobody would know there is a stamped pattern underneath. I enjoyed making these so much that I ordered more in other patterns.

I love the theme of lighthouses. It gives you many styles and colors. Easy to use since they are all predrawn and all neccessary threads are provided. I made them as gift bookmarks. Everybody was happy to receive them. Something different as a gift, more personal.
