Great spider/insect catcher. We’d had our last one for years & years but eventually the slider broke. This one is even better with a longer handle which means you don’t have to get too close to the spider etc. Easy to use and release. Thoroughly recommend.

It definitely catches insects but it also guillotines them when turned! Okay if you're not squeamish or want to be insect friendly.

To be completely honest, the way I would usually advocate getting rid of a spider would be burning the entire house down, but failing this I would want something around three times the length of this device. The other day, after a particularly harrowing incident with a spider the size of small tarantula, I came online to try and find a device to help. I ordered this device but have been disappointed with what has arrived, which is a small, short and flimsy green stick which looks like a cat toy. It also requires you twist the device so it closes (while holding said humongous spider and risking dropping it??) I have yet to use it, hence why I've given it three stars as is may work well. But to be quite honest, I wouldn't want to be getting that close to the thing in the first place so it might suffice for my flatmate to use when bailing me out (again)... it's not much better than a cup and a postcard for the arachnophobics among us.

This item catches spiders on walls. It DOES NOT catch spiders on ceiling. I tried. Spider fell out. It fell down just centimetres from my face. I felt its breath It was so close. When it landed next to my feet I then saw its teeth and tattoo's, I'm not exaggerating before it casually strolled beneath my bed to plot my death. Only reason I'm still alive is I haven't actually slept in my bed since. Buying this product also cost me an extra £6 to buy throat lozenges due to the extended blood curdling scream I released as spider fell out of the trap. Also need to plan for therapy after neighbours 3 doors down knocked on door to check I wasn't being murdered, and her young children laughed at me for crying at a little spider. I explained it was big enough to move furniture they were not convinced. Bad children but very very bad product.

Absolutes Billigteil. Das bischen Plasik ist das Geld nicht wert. Irreführende Beschreibung. Durch drehen fällt zwar die Klappe zu, die Spinne dürfte das aber nicht überleben. Und man muss das ganze Teil drehen, nicht nur den Griff. Es ist eigentlich eine Frechheit dafür soviel Geld zu verlangen. Schade, mal wieder ein Fehlkauf.
