Please read before buying. You don't need this pen. Get the Lamy Safari. I bought this pen because of the aluminum body. But on the very first day, the clip on the cap broke off from a regular notebook cover, where the Lamy Safari easily handled it. Simply awful. It can't be fixed, and I just threw the pen away in great frustration. It can't be carried without the cap. And this clip also helps keep the pen in place. This is a very poor design. Lamy should have used a small screw instead of a plastic cap.

Als junger Mensch habe ich die Lamy-Serie nie gemocht, trotz ihres tollen Designs. Dann habe ich einen Lamy Safari (das Kunststoffmodell des Al-Star) mit breiter Feder gekauft und war begeistert. Da krazt nichts, die Feder gleitet wie von selbst über das Papier. Dann habe ich den AL-Star nachbestellt, um beide zu vergleichen. Welcher nun besser gefällt ist Geschmackssache. Der Safari ist sehr leicht und liegt gut in der Hand, der Al-Star ist wertiger, kälter und schwerer. Am besten gleich beide Kaufen und doppelt Spass haben!
