A nice sounding tongue drum, I'm not a musician, I bought this for myself and the grandkids to play around with. The drum is quite substantial and comes in a decent quality case along with a pair of rubber-headed sticks and an instruction book. The drum arrived pre-tuned, but you can re-tune it by removing a nylon stopper in the base and bending the tongues in order to obtain the desired tone. In researching these instruments I found that you can pay a lot of money for the top examples: i think this one achieves a good balance between size, sound and economy for my purposes. I am pleased with the purchase, the grandkids love it. 5 stars.

Bought as a Christmas pressie, just opened it before wrapping it, and really disappointed, to top is all dinted, but well packaged and no damage to packaging

Unfortunately, this handpan was badly out of tune, and I needed to return it. 3/4 of the notes did not produce a single sound and were tinny, or even beyond that. The packaging was lovely, and a lot of thought went into the presentation. However, as a musical instrument, I really recommend that others look elsewhere.

Sounds good, but unfortunately the purple colour disappeared after approx 3 weeks, despite caring for it as advised. Its now a muddy brown.

I bought this just for fun since being newly retired.It's lovely to play and makes a nice noise even if you Don't know how to play a tune. Just waiting for some music books to arrive.
