Outstanding Delay Pedal
Quite simply this is one of the most outstanding delay pedals I have ever used. Infinite options and some of the best delay sounds you can hope to get outside of strymon for this price point. This is the flashback 2 model which includes the new Tc MASH technology which is a feature where depending how much pressure you place on the foot controller it'll change delay parameters such as a 'hold' function as an example. It's got so many great delay sounds including the 2290 which is a personal favourite as well as the crystal and modulation delays. To top it off it has a built in looper! As well as 3 slots for 3 separate tone prints, which is a feature wheelreby artists have collaborated with TC to design a 'signature' delay sound. All of those can be accessed by the TC app on your phone and you can 'beam' them onto the pedal via Bluetooth which is an amazing feature! It's built like a tank! Is true bypass and also has stereo in and out! You also have the option for rhythmic variations by the little switch on the top. Absolutely love the design and look of this pedal, looks really classy and has stood the test of time. It's hard to say much more, for a musician you have every type of delay you could imagine, which are fully customisable, toneprint slots and a looper all for sub £120 at the type of writing this. I really have no negatives I adore this pedal The strymon timeline and other delays are often referred to as the gold standard of delays and it is but at 4 times the price. This little magic blue unit in my personal opinion is comparable based on what it can do at a fantastic price point. As with all their pedlas, TC have absolutely knocked it out of the park with this unit! The only way to up it is to go and buy the TC flashback x4 , for 4 flashbacks 😁

Just buy it. You won’t be disappointed 👍
I love delay. Analog or Digital, it doesn’t matter, it is part of my sound. Having bought a few TC Electronic pedals in the past (Hall of Fame 2, SCF Gold Chorus re-issue, Sentry noise gate) I knew I was getting a pedal that could take some abuse. Well built metal enclosure, stereo in and out and an array of premium delays. If that were all, then this pedal is worth the price, but, in addition to that, you have the fantastic tone print software, which means I can download some delay settings of big named musicians and sound a bit like them, cool. Should last a lifetime, pairs extremely well with my Boss DD-8 delay, for that awesome David Gilmour sound from The Wall. Fits perfectly on my pedalboard and should stay there for the foreseeable future. You can taylor the sound and timing til your hearts content. If you only have £100 ish for a delay pedal, then this pedal is for you. If you have more, don’t write this one off, try and compare this to other pedals, you won’t believe how good this one is. I have 3 favourite delay pedals, Boss DD-8, MXR Carbon Copy, and now the TCE Flashback.

Great little retro tape echo pedal!
For the price this is a great impression of retro tape echo - it can produce authentic 50's slapback delay on the shorter settings and psychodelic degrading repeats on the longer settings. It isn't as flexible as more expensive pedals but it does one thing really well. The mod switch adds a very subtle detuning effect to the sound which is only really noticeable at longer delay times and more sustain...

Lovely Delay
Been looking at this delay for a few weeks now and finally decided to go for it last week. Although when the unit arrived there was no power adapter so I had to purchase an additional 9v adapter which I wasn’t happy about at first but it’s the case with most pedals(apart from the higher end products like Eventide!) So having to power up via the medium of batteries(a further £6!) I managed to get it on and started using it, the delays are so well balanced it makes synths and vocals sound so rich and textured with really creative options of manual automation(hands on!) There’s even a short looper which is fun to use but very basic, and you can’t delay your loop! It’s a great little pedal would absolutely recommend but get a power supply before buying and do not use with batteries it literally eats them up hours!

A versatile digital delay with rhythmic options
A versatile digital delay with top mounted jacks that would suit anyone looking for pristine repeats with some rhythmic options.

Absolute bargain of a anolog delay pedal!
You get all the warm muddy tones you want and expect from a bucket brigade chip analog delay. The maximum delay time isn't that long, but for shorter delays like slapback,it delivers the goods and generally enhances your overall guitar tone. Responds well in conjunction with modulation, digital delay and reverb effects and can achieve a decent faux reverb,by itself. Solid metal chassis makes it 'built like a tank' in term of durability and the uncomplicated three large dials make it easy to adjust settings on the fly. Basically what you're getting is a basic,no-frills delay providing a quality version of analog delay that doesn't sound cheap but is incredibly cheap to purchase. What's not to love?

Simple, sturdy, and sounds great
I’ve been using the TC Electronic Echobrain Analog Delay for a bit now and it’s a really solid, no-fuss pedal. It gives you that nice warm, slightly dark analog delay sound that sits really well behind your playing instead of overpowering it. It is super easy to use too, just three knobs and you’re good to go. I mainly use it for a quick slapback or a bit of depth on leads, and it does both really well without any hassle. Build quality feels sturdy, and it’s small enough to fit easily on a pedalboard. The only thing is the delay time isn’t super long, but for most everyday sounds it’s more than enough. Overall, great little pedal for the price. If you want a straightforward analog delay that just works, this is a great choice 👍
