Love love love. I just couldn't live without it.
I purchased my Surface Pro 3 from a different site a few months ago and just wasn't sure I could justify the cost of a keyboard. Once I got the Surface and played with it for a bit, I found that I honestly couldn't live without a keyboard. I am a blogger for a website and honestly purchased the Surface to have something light and portable for the posts and for my photography storage/editing.So once I finally decided to bite the bullet on cost, I came over to Amazon to buy a keyboard. I had a terrible time choosing a color. Black is so boring but professional looking... I liked the bright blue but I wasn't crazy about the navy one. And just not feeling the purple... That left red. So now that I've narrowed down to my favorite color, I actually chose to browse the used section to see if there was anything I could find worth my time. The buyer for this had only used it once because he was given 2 as gifts. I ended up paying just shy of $75 for it and must say that I don't regret the decision to buy. Even through third party, the shipping (not prime) was fast. I got it within 5 days of purchase. The keyboard itself is great. I love how compact it is, how light and yet so functional. It's just like any other laptop keyboard in how the button press feels. The size of the board is a touch small but there's only so much you can cram when you're restricted by size. I'd say that it would be small for a man and just right for a woman with petite hands. It's not a deal breaker by any means! I love the color, I love the velvet feel on the outside. I will also mention that the keyboard, while meant to serve as a protective cover of sorts, fits perfect in the case that I purchased for the Surface. It attaches and fits just perfect enough to where I can still close it over the keyboard and pen holder and the magnets do their job to keep it shut.

Works for the Surface 3 🤩
I have the surface 3 and wanted the purple keyboard since I purchased my surface three years ago. I finally decided to purchase it when my red keyboard got the keys picked off by my toddler. Seeing that keyboards AERNT cheap I was devastated. So I purchased the purple keyboard for my surface 3 and despite the reviews, I bought it. It arrived today, on time as scheduled minus some hiccups with Amazon and it worked! I seen one commenter who claimed it would and I’m glad I listened.Pro’s:*If you love the color purple, you will be in heaven.*Is compatible with the surface 3 despite the naysayers.* Has backlight, sleek design and still the touch screen works.Cons:*2” bigger one inch on each side of the tablet that hangs over the side. (Only if you have the Surface 3; not pro)Other then that I guess if your staring at the computer with the tablet closed then it maybe annoying seeing one inch on each side hanging over.If your like me, you wanted a purple keyboard and you will deal with the extra inch of space on each side. Still fits in a sleek smaller case and I am in love with it. Loaded up like a charm as soon as I clicked it on and boom we were in business. The keys lit up and I was off to see the wizard of Oz 😁

Great laptop and tablet. Windows App Store lacking.
This product is perfect if you need a windows laptop but would like a tablet as well. Most software at work requires a windows product, but for reading and movies I'd like a tablet. This product does both beautifully. I got Microsoft's Bluetooth mouse and they work perfect together. With this I have a mouse and still have an available USB port. The keyboard is perfect for my hands and I rarely miss type on it. The display is great. Battery life has been fine. I can use it 8 hours at work, though I'm not using it continuously, and I still have 1/3 charge left. I got the i7 because I hate waiting for a computer to think and it's made the device very responsive and quick. Startup only takes seconds. With this setup I feel like I have a high quality windows laptop. Then when I want to relax and read the news or catch a show on Netflix I unplug everything and then I have a great tablet. Touch screen is responsive and accurate. The speakers are more than adequate and louder than my iPhone. The pen is well designed too and easy to use, but I personally don't have a huge need for that. I did test the handwriting recognition which was excellent. The only downside is that the windows App Store is nowhere near the quality and quantity of Apple's App Store. But since it's a full computer you can get any kind of software you'd need, it just may not be optimized for tablet use.Overall I'm very happy with this product, it fits both my needs and wants very well.
