I used these to cut new bangs, which had grown out. The cut quality is top of the line! Fit and finish is excellent. These scissors operate smoothy and easily without any play. The steel is very hard so edge will last a long time. The edge was not as sharp as it could have been. I removed one star for this. A touch-up with a very fine ceramic stone improved it. Comes with a very serviceable case and rubber/plastic finger hole inserts which I don't use.. Tension screw appears to be adjustable with a blade screwdriver but is only a friction fit. I haven't needed to or tried to adjust it. A great product for $10.

Best scissors I have used for cutting hair. They are super sharp and a great size. I need to purchase another one or two.

I'm not a professional hair stylist, but I do cut my husband's hair and I needed sheers that were easy to use and sharp. These are perfect! I tried them with and without the finger gaskets (that fit inside the holes), and I prefer them with the rubber gaskets. I have small hands and these fit me well, cut his hair easily and seem very durable. A good choice for the home barber.
