I purchased this back in 2018 to get my 13” MBP off of my desk. And it worked perfectly until I upgraded the laptop to a MacBook with Touch ID (the fingerprint security device), which is only accessible when the device is open. I was not sure if I would use the Touch ID feature but, it is so useful and faster than entering a password when required. One solution is to purchase one of Apple’s new keyboards that are specifically designed for Apple Silicon Macs. There are two versions, full size ($175) or the smaller one, without numeric keypad ($139). After reading the reviews of these, the keys are described as “not as nice” as the keys on the MacBooks, I’m not convinced that throwing another $150 at the problem is a good choice. I type all day, every day and LOVE the feel of the MacBook keyboards. Another solution is to disable the Touch ID feature and just enter a password, which I’ve been doing for 30+ years. Have I really become that lazy? One additional option is to purchase a laptop stand that clamps to the desk with an arm and a tray to hold the laptop. That way I could keep the laptop screen open all the time and reach over to use the Touch ID when needed. However, I would likely just enter the PW on the external keyboard when required instead of reaching over to the laptop to do it. Decisions, decisions. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone looking to clear space on their desk. It’s very sturdy and adjustable. I used it to hold a MacBook and an external hard drive in the two slots.

I'm using this in my Work From Home setup which used to be just a desk with my 17.3" gaming laptop. Now I have my gaming laptop, my work laptop and two 24" monitors. I wanted a clean way to have both laptop's on my desk. I searched all over and found this. First thing, it's really sturdy. I'm shocked at how sturdy it is. It is made of metal and the bottom is some sort of grippy rubber material. My desk is a wood top with a layer of varnish on it. The rubber grips nicely on it and doesn't slip. After about a month of using this, the weight of the laptops had it gripping the desk really well. I had to pull a bit to get it to release from the desk. It wasn't damaged nor did it damage the desk. I was nervous that it might not hold a large laptop. My gaming laptop is 17.3 inches. Well, it holds fine actually. I have it with the hinge aimed up to allow air to flow better and it is holding fine. The laptop doesn't wobble and the stand has protective material that holds the laptop so it doesn't scratch it. If you have two laptops I would recommend using this. I was surprised at how sturdy it is and how well it grips. They make a single laptop version if you only have a single laptop or want them in separated. Otherwise, this is completely worth the money.

This thing just works. It's heavier than you would think, so it's quite stable. It holds the laptops securely (both different brands) with its adjustability. Worth the money.

The build quality of this dual vertical laptop stand is solid where it feels sturdy and well made. For my use case, the laptops sit too close together, which raised some concerns about airflow and cooling. I ultimately decided to switch to a single stand to ensure better ventilation.

this thing is awesome! little pricy, but worth it when you see the build quality. i have two 16" Macbook Pros (one personal, one for work) i used to just stack one on top of the other, but that took up a lot of room on my desk and they'd get pretty warm (intel, lol). seems like they run cooler in this vertical configuration and it saves so much room. i have to take my work laptop out often when i leave the house and this makes it painless. never feels like they'll fall over because it's nicely weighted and the rubber lining protects the laptops. anyways it just plain looks cool. when my girlfriend saw it, she wanted one for her own Macbook M1 Air and an old big/heavy 2013 Macbook Pro that sometimes gets used by family when they stay with us, so i got her the pink one which looks great too! if you're on the fence due to the price (because there are cheaper options) i'd say go for it; the cheaper ones often are made with cheaper materials and unless you have a small or light laptop, may be precarious without that extra weight this one has.

Works well and feels very sturdy while holding 2 laptops. Overall adjusting the for each laptop size was fairly easy. Although, I would use your own Allen key as the one provided stripped out when trying to tighten the brackets down, bolts held up fine.

Flexibilität & Anpassung Die Breite der einzelnen Docks lässt sich sehr einfach und präzise anpassen. Dadurch können auch unterschiedlich dicke Geräte problemlos verwendet werden, etwa mit oder ohne Schutzhülle. Die Einstellung bleibt stabil und verstellt sich im Alltag nicht. Excellent material quality and very sturdy build. The laptop stays firmly in place with no movement at all, and the base is solid and well balanced. I tested it with both one laptop and two laptops, and it remains stable in both cases. It does exactly what is described in the product details.

I was looking for a stand for my iPad pro and iPad mini, that could be used for both storage and when charging. This worked perfectly! Highly recommended product.
