A delicious whole blossom drink
As a first time user of Hibiscus tea I wasn't sure if I'd like it but thought I'd give it a try. I'm so pleased that I did. After just a couple of cups I'm hooked. While I have often drunk fruit teas I thought they could be a bit tasteless but not this hibiscus tea. It is smooth yet slightly sour, full of flavour. Although not the cheapest I've seen on the internet you only need to use a little to make a really tasty drink. The tea itself is whole dried hibiscus flowers, unlike some dusty over chopped fruit teas . Well worth the money.

Does taste tart but good sour juice!!!
I prefer to soak it in water overnight then strain to drink this as a cool drink - do not consume more than 250ml in a day there is a lot of info you can find online about side effects of this flower. You need to keep juice cold as it goes stale quick if left at room temperature - my 1st time mistake. Do not drink this if you are pregnant = lowers estrogen!!! This is really high in vitamin C so do take in small dosages = 1 cup of this flower juice is 20x stronger than oranges

Bad quality!
We have used this tea for a while , the last bag I got ( 250 g) I have found tiny stones, feathers and some green leaves obviously from different teas !! I had to go through the whole bag and sort the tea leaves out in order to be able to safely drink it ! Do not recommend anymore!

Like a Real Good Wine!
I make the Hibiscus tea in a pint glass and enjoy watching the hibiscus flowers slowly fall to the bottom of the glass as they re-hydrate whiles't concurrently turning the glass a darker and darker shade of red. Not only does it resemble a full bodied red wine, it actually leaves the pallet reacting in the same manor as if one has been partaking in a Bordeaux red wine with a high tannin content but without any sickly sweetness. I can see one becoming addicted to these Hibiscus flowers and the actual making process.
