I recently purchased this pure bronze tawa for cooking, and I am absolutely thrilled with the quality and results. This is a solid, beautifully crafted piece of cookware that has brought a whole new depth to my cooking experience. Pros: 1. Excellent Heat Retention: The bronze heats evenly, which is perfect for making items like dosa, roti, and parathas. The food cooks consistently and gets a lovely golden color. 2. Non-Toxic Material: Bronze is known to be a safe, non-reactive metal, so I feel confident using it for all types of cooking. It doesn’t alter the taste of the food, which is essential. 3. Beautiful Aesthetic: It has a lovely, traditional look. Even when not in use, it adds a classic charm to my kitchen. 4. Durable and Long-Lasting: You can tell it’s built to last. The weight is substantial, and it feels incredibly sturdy. This tawa seems like it could last for generations if cared for properly. Cons: 1. Requires Care: Bronze requires a bit more maintenance than non-stick or stainless steel. It’s not dishwasher-safe and needs to be cleaned and dried carefully to maintain its shine. 2. Heavier Than Expected: It’s heavier than typical cookware, so it takes a little getting used to, especially for flipping items quickly. I don't think so it is brass
Roti is burn on this tawa . Not good kwality.not brass metal. Yellow colour on top .not brass.very disappointed 😒

Bought this to avoid non-stick and iron option for Health reasons based on reading and feedback that copper is good for health. It cooks early, and one will need time to adapt while making roti, else it will burn.
