Excellent book. We have used the series in many countries and found them to be reliable and mainly accurate. Hopefully continual research by the publishers will keep pace with any changes.

good review of the Ardennes but needs more information on campsites, more recommendations needed.

It depends, what type of traveler are you?
If the main purpose of your travel is partying, going to restaurants and looking for clubs, this is probably the guide for you. If, on the contrary, you are looking for history, art museums and culture, there are other guides out there much better than this one for the same price.

Dull reading. Needs to be updated to take into account internet is now around and one reads travel book not just for raw information or listings.

I bought the Kindle version so can’t speak about the paper version. Not all that useful and has little discussion about places it suggests. Best to get the books by Rick Steves or although not as good, just use Tripadvisor.

Buona guida .

I traveled in Belgium and Luxembourg for two weeks and this book was a great jumping off point when I was unsure what to do in a city. The main cities I traveled to were Brussels, Luxembourg City, Antwerp, Gent, and Bruges. I was traveling by my self so this book helped me find places I would not have seen otherwise. Most of the information in the travel guide can be found online, however it is convenient to have a hard copy to take notes in and to point you to things that you would not have even considered visiting. For example, in Bruges I saw some lithified jesus blood! It was written up in the book and I had no idea it even existed or that it was on display. The prices were not always accurate but hours of operation usually were. I spent some time hiking in eastern Belgium and northern Luxembourg, many of the small towns that I walked though were not mentioned in the guide, while it would be nice to have some beta on them as well, they were far from touristy. The book is great but far from exhaustive, keep your eyes open and listen to the locals. Have a great trip!

It is very useful for new expats moving to the region. You can know the place where will live the next years
