I recently got a new corded vacuum cleaner, and I have to say, it's been an eye-opener. I used to wonder why people still used corded vacuums when Dyson has such great cordless options. Now I get it. Power: This vacuum is soooo powerful. The suction is on a whole different level compared to cordless models. It picks up everything in one go, and the difference in cleaning power is noticeable. Quiet Operation: Surprisingly, it's ultra-quiet. I wasn't expecting that from a corded vacuum, but it's a pleasant surprise. It makes cleaning a lot more enjoyable without the loud noise. Ease of Use: While it's not as convenient as a cordless vacuum, especially when moving from room to room, the superior cleaning performance makes up for it. Does not hold up well. I purchased this vacuum from Amazon in August 2025. At first it was a great little vacuum. After a few weeks I noticed it was losing suction. I take the filter out, wash it, etc as recommended. That’s does help but I I feel like something else is going on. It was still usable though, just not great suction. Then last week the power to the floor sweeper stopped working. I contacted product support, they asked me to email a video, I did, and was told my vacuum wasn’t covered under warranty. I didn’t argue with that, just said I understood but I’d like to buy whatever part I needed to fix it, could they please help me troubleshoot that and tell me what part I needed to buy. I never got a response back. I went to YouTube and found a video posted by a nice guy who has no affiliation with Eureka and figured out that the connection wand is my problem. Figured I’d buy that. Went to the Eureka replacement parts website and can’t find the correct part. I called the customer service number on that website and got a real person on the phone fairly quickly, yay! But when I explained what I needed and told him what vacuum I have he told me they don’t make that replacement part. It’s not available for purchase. Which seems extremely stupid so I told him that I guess I’d learned not to buy any Eureka products in the future and he replied by saying he’d learned that for himself about four years ago. So, it’s a crappy product that doesn’t last long and when something breaks on it you’re out of luck.

We got this vacuum to replace a Kenmore cannister vacuum. First the good side: It is very light and easy to pack up and down our stairs. No more bags. YES! It has great suction. Close to, or equal to our old vac. It works very well on carpet but there is no height adjustment. Now on to our dislikes or down sides: There is no bare floor attachment. You just flip a switch on the handle and the beater bar brush goes into low mode. Almost off. It works great on laminate flooring. It is horrible on area rugs. If you turn on the beater bar it will eat area rugs. If you turn off the beater bar it doesn't thoroughly get all the dirt/debris. The power cord is fairly short. I find myself having to move it 3 times instead of once with our old vacuum. I wish it had an on/off switch on the handle. You have to push the button on the cannister. Not a deal breaker, just an inconvenience.

I bought this to replace a popular brand sold by big box stores. I am ecstatic about the performance. The ability to change vacuum level makes cleaning light carpets a breeze. The bagless catch tray is a joy, the extendable handle length is very nice for different sized persons. Wonderful and thoughtful design

This is NOT the vacuum for you if you have a lot of carpet. Its fine for a little vacuum, but not good for heavy use! I have 2 floors all carpet (except the kitchen and bathroom) and I have pets. This thing works great while it works, hence the 3 stars, but the motor head overheats!! And then you must turn it off and wait till next time when it decides to work. I returned the first one I'd received because the motor head stopped working abruptly on my very first vacuum!! It wasn't until I got a replacement for the broken one and read reviews more closely that I learned this overheating thing is actually a thing.... its annoying and I cant vacuum the whole house in one go.

I was totally prepared to send this vacuum back, I just knew it would not be any good. Was I wrong!!! This vacuum is a dream. Low enough to get under, almost everything, light enough to carry while vacuuming the steps and, it has powerful suction. The dirt catcher is easy to remove and empty then can be washed out. Clean for the next time. It is almost quiet enough for my cats not to run. The best feature, unlike most vacs exhaust to the front and blow things away, this dream exhaust to the rear. Thus, everything gets sucked up. I highly recommend this vacuum

I just got this and it is replacing an old Shark that is developing a very hot motor and cut's itself off. I tried the Eureka on the hall and bed room rugs last night. It has really good suction. I had just vacuumed the rugs last Monday, but this thing really pulled stuff out. It's much lighter and easier to use. With the detached handle & power head I'm able to get under furniture, that I couldn't get under with the Shark, unless I reconfigured it. The way the power head is made, it gets tighter to the walls and edges of the rooms. I really like the cord management on this thing. It has a smaller collection bin, so I need to clean it after every use, something I didn't have to do with the Shark. I'm considering this machine an upgrade, for now. We'll see how long it lasts.
