No matter the number of expensive fancy knives I buy, I keep going back to these. They are thin and sharp, easy to hold. keep their sharpness forever and work well for most tasks required in Indian vegetarian cooking. It's hard to cut big things like a pineapple- the knife wobbles and may get stuck in the pineapple. But then it's not the knife for that kind of job anyway. I just hand wash them (no dishwasher) and it's good as new. With the number of knives in this pack I suspect I'm set up for life.

For years my kitchen drawer was full of expensive german and japanese knives. It was tiresome to constantly sharpen and it just never sliced things as thin or finely as I wanted them to. I gave these inexpensive ones a try and I'm hooked. I even brought them to airbnbs because they're my absolute favorite to slice tomatoes, onions, and other produce with. Best of all, no need to sharpen! While this won't replace every knife (like a bread or steak knife) it can replace almost everything, lasts for years, and it's cheap enough to replace.
