I’m really impressed with the Dremel 4000-2/32 Rotary Tool Kit. It’s powerful, easy to handle, and works beautifully for all kinds of projects. So far, I’ve used it for sanding, engraving, and polishing, and it performs great every time. The variable speed control is super handy, and it feels very precise no matter the material. I also love that it comes with so many attachments and accessories — everything you need is right in the box! The setup was straightforward, and switching between tools is quick and simple. Overall, this kit has exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re doing detailed craft work, DIY repairs, or just love tinkering with projects, this Dremel is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

This new 4000 Dremel replaces an eleven year old Dremel 4000 that performed flawlessly until the electronic speed control failed. The concept that this tool is just for light duty and hobbyist use is totally wrong; I used and abused it and it kept on performing without degradation over its’ 11 year life.

Good cost effective version by a good brand. Very light weight and I prefer corded over cordless because of how frequently I use the tool. I didn’t want battery powered since the batteries quickly degrade in my opinion. It’s very durable and a simple easy design for swapping accessories. You may need a larger bit set but they are readily available. Stick to this over the non name brands. Very easy to adjust speeds.

I purchased this to modify PC cases, and the tool has been simply perfect for this use case. The bundle comes with a lot, frankly, more than I know what to do with, and oddly didn't come with the specific bit to cut metal (my use case). At the same time, it was a minimal expense and effort to get the right bit. The documentation and materials included are perfect for a layperson, and coming from a battery powered unit, I can vouch for the wired one being the one to go for. Using the battery powered unit, I would have to recharge multiple times for a single case modification, which drastically slowed down my progress. Wiring in, no such holdups, and I love it. Works great, as advertised. All the extra bits may or may not be useful given your use case. The product also feels and handles like a well built device, never threatening or scaring me for my safety.

I'm a retired toolmaker and have used Dremel tools for 40 years. I have both corded and battery operated tools. In most cases I prefer corded tools because they have more power and keep working without losing power. I bought this unit as a present for my grandson, which will probably last him a lifetime!

I love the Dremel. It works as it should & has a lot of attachments that come with it.

Top notch tool that has uses that far surpass that for which I purchased it. High quality.

You cannot beat a corded Dremel tool for power. Strong power at all speeds from buffing to cutting small rocks into slices. The tool is large and a tad heavy for delicate work, but its forte is in cutting and grinding not engraving glass. For serious cutting, grinding and drilling, you would have to purchase some diamond wheels and bits as the included accessories are limited. A corded Dremel should be in every workshop.
