Pumpkin Jack

This is a cute story about a little boy named Tim and his very first jack-o-lantern, Jack! So many lesson to learn from this book. The lesson of Tim letting go of Jack even when it’s not what he wants to do. Tim watches the changes taking place to Jack, and later sees Jack growing into a plant and then a new pumpkin. The life cycle of a pumpkin. This makes a wonderful year round science experiment! Our preschool visits a pumpkin patch every year, this year we will get extra pumpkins to keep in jars for this science experiment! I’m excited for them to hear the story and then have first hand experience with this experiment! The book is a very good quality with a heavy stock cover and glossy print. The picture are perfect quality showing great details of fall and Jack’s journey from Jack-I-laterner to pumpkin again! I would highly recommend this book!!! ***I included pictures of our Pumpkin Jack and Pumpkin Jill experiments!

Great living book for early elementary/preschoolers! I ordered this book for our “Great Pumpkin Comeback” project for our kindergarten/preschool homeschool project. It’s a beautifully illustrated book that walks through the life cycle of a pumpkin. Love this and will be reading it to my kids each fall!

Fabulous book. Great read for Kindergarten as well prepare for our pumpkin carving. Then we will place our Jack in the flower bed near our classroom and see what happens! Im not happy the cover came creased and dented. I am a stickler for keep my books in pristine condition, so that made me.sad and a kiddo in my class asked if I was ok with my book being bruised :(

My second graders enjoyed the book. We created our own pumpkin Jack to watch. It is been a wonderful project.
