Organic Burdock Root Cut, 1-pound Bag

I love this product so much. I had a bad cough after drinking this tea for a week I recommend it to 3 of my friends that buy it also. I have my 2 girls drinking the tea also.

Seems to do well at cleansing the body. The root does indeed look like little hard pebbles and stickes. It's not though. It needs to steep for a while to soften up. The way I use it is to boil a mug of water and add it together with chapparal in the afternoon. I let is steep for 30 mins then drink. I refill the mug and heat the water then let it sit over night. I reheat it in the am and drink it before heading out to work. On the second mug the root is soft and chewable. It works very well at cleansing and eliminating diabetes 'brain fog' in the morning. Lasts longer than coffee without the hype. The first week I used it my urine looked milky. After it cleared up my kidney discomfort and occasional pangs disappeared. My blood sugar is creeping down too. Looking forward to the chloresterol checks in 2 months.

This is a very interesting taste. It reminds me of the ginseng root drink that my mom and grandma made for us growing up...so, I really like this familiar, earthy taste. I steep in in my 40 oz takeya pitcher with approx 1/8 cup of the root..stick it in the fridge and drink it cold without sweetener. I like it so much I even eat some of the root with the tea. I do have to be careful not to eat too much of the root because it seems to cause a lot of gas and bloating. Hopefully, the health claims are correct and this drink will help to cleanse my system and keep my liver working well.

I ordered this from Snow Valley Botanicals, and yet the Star West Botanical Label is on it???? Makes this very confusing who is doing and sending what??? Love Star West Botanical products and think they are great. I thoroughly trust the quality of their products and always try to order from them. I would have directly ordered the burdock root from them on Amazon, but it was only offered thru Snow Valley??? but glad it came as Star West since I prefer to order their products.

I bought this to mix with Dandelion Root and make tea to help my body to flush out excess estrogen and other toxins as well as for the other health benefits. I'm incorporating this with some other herbs in an attempt to rid my body of fibroids naturally. I started the Dandelion Root tea one month ago and I mixed the two today for the first time. I'll see how this journey goes. Whatever you wish to use it for, the quality is good. I am pleased with the Starwest Botanicals brand.

Works! I make a potful of this and my family (including my cats) drink this tea everyday! This tea may produce phloems to clean your system if necessary. My family experience the extra phloem production by drinking the tea. Anyway, It is a great feeling to wake up without numbing-tingling arms caused by bad blood circulation (may have caused by toxin in my system). I believe this burdock root is helping my system to clean my somewhat-unclean blood. I have irritable gut syndrome, gluten-allergy, and Atopy. As long as I watch what I eat and drink this tea (more than 2 cups per day), my skin and limps are free from the numbing and itchiness.

Whats not to like. Its a good product that comes in a reusuable bag. Enjoy.

I really enjoy making tea out of this superfood. i also add it to my smoothing blend sometimes. i like the mild laxative effect it gives me.

Well, the amount was correct but I thought a little too expensive due to Canadian Exchange. It does the job and came quickly. I wish it was cheaper for the same amount of 1 lb. Great that it comes in a resealable bag. It's also organic. I can buy organic pure root at the supermarket and I get a pound for under 4 dollars. It tastes the same and does the same work for less. The only difference is it is fresh, not dried. So you have a choice. Raw or dried. They both make the same amount of tea.

Very, very good quality and consistency. Actually, the best I have purchased. I've grown, harvested, cleaned & dried my own many times over the years (search for: wildfoodshomegarden burdock OR search for: natures-restaurant-online burdock). I know how hard it is to get it this clean & consistent. Another key feature of this is the bag is sealed and light resistant. Burdock root tends to soak moisture from the atmosphere, and if it does, it can turn mouldy. That's the problem buying in bulk format from stores in humid climates. This was bone dry when opened. I can recommend this without reservation.
