Recommended!
A nice pair of jeans, material is thicker than most jeans nowadays (12oz) but it's surprisingly comfortable due to it's stretchable nature. Finish, stitching and attention to details is top notch. Colour is deep and dark, as pictured. Looking forward to see how it ages and develop its unique lines and fades. Front pockets are deep, quality of zipper is excellent. I would highly recommend it but be aware of the fit: it's described as slim but it's more of a skinny fit, compared to say the Levi's 511. If you're looking for authentic selvedge jeans, definitely consider this.

Back pocket not in position
Product quality is ok, but not satisfied by back pocket positioning. Back pocket is more lower & inner side.

Better than the usual you find in India
Better than the Levis rags sold in India... in fact much much better! It wont beat the Levis "made and crafted" (which is made in Turkey mostly) and the Levis Made in USA (which used to source the Cone Mills denim in North Carolina, but I think the mill shut down a while ago). But it will hands down beat ANY regular Levis rags sold across the globe (red tab silver tab you name it) or most any brand sold in India (I don't have much experience but that's because I don't have the heart to buy that stuff after looking at it). Anyway, this is not some fancy denim but very good for the price. It's medium weight (if I was to guess about 8/9 ounces) and decently well built... good for the non-summer months in India. I never wash denim in washing machines so I don't know how this will hold up if thrown in.

I really find this selvedge jeans affordable and comfortable at this price point. Still using it, and happy with the fabric quality.
