I had been searching for a lightweight blow dryer for ages, and the Slopehill blow dryer is lighter than any one I found. It’s sleek, powerful, and dries my hair in about half the time it used to take with my old dryer. The design is simple and easy to use, and another big plus is that it isn’t noisy like many other dryers. Overall, I’m extremely happy with it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight, efficient blow dryer.

So this thing is actually pretty neat. It weighs less my brushes. Now most of our purchases are made overseas and for a long time they were mostly made in China. That's nothing new. But this one was conceived, designed and came into being completely in China. I will admit I was a little put off at first and almost returned it before trying it. And what a mistake that would have been. This blow dryer is amazing. I dries my hair and leaves no frizz behind. Its been line thirty years since I actually used a blow dryer. This thing is amazing. Whatever it uses and however it does it, my hair comes out as if I had just been to the salon. A couple of points, yes there is a funky smell. It's not uncommon, it is just anything left over from production on the heating element. I'm sure we have all smelled it and more recently some of my kitchen appliances came with an initial warning about an odor from the heating element. This blow dryer was no different. Long before my first blow dry, the was completely dissipated. As for build quality, I would never use this as a professional dryer in a salon. Granted its neat and its light but you can see where the two pieces that make up the body were glued together. And there is just the slightest difference in dye lots where it is co-joined. And that also put me off.... But then I used it. I am giving it five stars because it deserves five stars. Cost is reasonable, size and weight are perfect and it does what it says it does.

I’ve owned many hair dryers over the years, but this one is truly something else. The Slopehill Professional Hair Dryer is extremely lightweight and sleek, and the magnetic attachments are fantastic, the magnet is strong and snaps on perfectly. I’m genuinely impressed by the quality. It dries hair incredibly fast without feeling bulky or tiring to use. A great upgrade from anything I’ve had before.

Very lightweight and quiet hair dryer. Large volume of air for quick drying but also lower settings for styling. Much better dryer than other larger, noisy units. My hairdresser has the Slopehill dryer and uses it professionally.

Great dryer—sleek, powerful, & thoughtfully designed. (FYI: description says “Black,” but this is “Dark Ceramic,” a beautiful metallic charcoal gray.) I’m returning this ... only because I accidentally also ordered the pink one, which is just *too* adorable. This is an excellent, high-performing dryer. I hate drying my hair—it's boring and loud—but sometimes I have to do it. So I tested 6-7 models looking for one that dried extra fast, wasn’t too loud, had easy-swap attachments, included a great diffuser for curly hair, and was travel-friendly (lightweight &/or foldable, ideally dual-voltage). One was 1600W; the rest were 1875–2000W. Highlights of the Slopehill: • Beautiful, minimalist design, excellent build, and comfortable balance (fwiw, the product details say this is "for women," but it's totally gender-neutral) • The BEST attachments: magnetic, secure, and couldn't be easier to swap out. • Strong airflow & heat (not *the strongest* but plenty for most people), with pretty low noise. • Easy-to-read push-button settings that remember your last choice. • Good value: I bought it on sale for $90 (vs. $129.99) & the pink version for $77 - on sale, it's an excellent deal. Here's how much I like this dryer: I hate drying my hair and I'm currently considering this (the pink one) *instead of a more powerful model* just because the design and attachments are such a pleasure. If you hate drying your hair, you know how big a deal this is! Maybe it will take 1-2 min longer but I'll enjoy it more? Trying to decide. It's still quite fast and powerful. Other dryers I tried — and I do recommend all of them! • Infiniti PRO by Conair DigitalAIRE 2.0: REALLY powerful, folds, great diffuser, dual voltage; very slightly bulkier; runs hot. • Annlary Plasma Ion: Light, velvety finish, surprisingly great diffuser, sleeper hit of the batch. • Hittonia Infrared Ionic: Powerful, magnetic attachments, dual voltage; might be a fave for some people but the diffuser's just okay. • Conair w/ Folding Handle (Pink): Affordable, lightweight, excellent diffuser, manual switches; slightly bulkier (even when folded). • Shark Speedstyle Pro Flex: Super powerful and effective but heavy (>2 lbs w/diffusor vs. ~1.5lbs); diffusor is big/ heavy but works great. Wish attachments were magnetic. Has good functions. Well designed but way less cute than the Slopehill. This the current competition. Bottom line: if you love design and ease, I think you'd love this Slopehill. For sheer power, go with the Conair Infiniti Pro, the Shark, or if you don't need a great diffusor, the Hittonia.

This compact ionic hairdryer is fantastic. It’s incredibly lightweight and easy to handle - perfect for anyone who finds heavier dryers uncomfortable, especially older users. No arm or wrist strain at all. Despite its small size, it dries hair quickly and leaves it smooth, shiny, and frizz-free. The controls are simple and straightforward, and it’s not overly loud. It’s powerful, gentle on hair, and thoughtfully designed. Highly recommend!

Nach langer Suche habe ich mich für diesen Fön entschieden und habe meine Entscheidung nicht bereut. Ich benötige eine Fön , der sich leicht bedienen und gut greifen lässt, diese Voraussetzungen werden von dem Slope Hill bestens erfüllt. Der magnetisch anzubringende Diffusor und die automatische Filter Reinigung sind weitere Highlights . Meine Naturlocken lassen sich mit dem Diffusor bestens kneten. Einzig das Kabel ist ein wenig lang und schwer , aber daran habe ich mich schnell gewöhnt . Würde ihn definitiv wieder kaufen .

Er sieht klasse aus, ist wirklich sehr leise, mach das Haar schnell trocken. Der Haartrockner liegt auch sehr gut in der Hand und ist ganz leicht. Gut für den Sommer!
