Works for fastening to FiberCement (Hardy) Door Trim!
How do you fasten to fiber-cement (Hardy Board) trim-work? I had to secure adhesive-backed velcro strips and regular nails would not penetrate fiber-cement trim-work. There are two obstacles to overcome: 1. Predrilling holes for small nails requires small diameter masonry bits which are brittle and hard to find. 2. Regular steel nails break off or bend when hammering directly into fiber-cement trim. These "Hordion 100pcs Hardware Nails 0.79 inch, Carbon Steel Point Tip Cement Nails Masonry Nails" can be hammered directly into the Velcro/Fiberboard without predrilling holes. I inserted 16 nails without problems. See picture.

Good nails for diy home projects.
These hold up well when used in concrete. Their lightweight but but do not bend when I hammered them in. I still have many left over for other diy ideas.

Decent concrete nails
We have concrete blocks walls and these worked very well although they did still cause a buckle or small chip.
