Great price and works perfectly with the cleaning station

These original cartridges do a fantastic job of cleaning my Braun S9, to the extent that it feels like picking up a brand new shaver every day. They're easy to install, with a quick slot in / slot out process whenever one runs out, and they fit perfectly in the S9 cleaning station which sits nicely tucked away in a corner. The cleaning cycle runs quickly and effectively, with the wash and dry being over in just a few minutes, and then the shaver being thoroughly clean and ready to use next time it is needed. The cartridges last about 30 days, and in my experience they last longer when I wash every day and leave the shaver in the station while not in use. It's as if it reduces exposure to the air, and slows down the evaporation, but 30 days is more than adequate for me. Be careful when you pull the plastic bung before installation - you need to pull with a smooth and controlled action, and if you can avoid sudden jerks then you'll keep more cleaning product in the cartridge, so it will last you longer.

When compared with other sellers, 6 of these "Clean and Renew" cartridges for £27 represents good value. This price is £3.50 per cartridge - while they are often £10+ each elsewhere - even on the "auction" site. These are genuine Braun items and last about 2 months each with a daily razor clean. ie. A box of 6 lasts me about a year. They clean and lubricate my Braun Series 6 razor and keep it running like new. They leave a fresh lemon fragrance. Being sealed, there is no "use by" date so they can be stored for extended periods I have used alternative refill liquids. A few of them (high in isopropyl alcohol) work as well. But, at this price, why bother? These are hassle free....

Seems to work just fine I guess the isoprol and ethanol are a degreasing agent so after using the cleaning station I would strongly recommend oiling your razor with whal or simular oil to stop rusting as these shavers are not cheap the cleaning cartridges are not on the cheap side so when mine is not in use I replace the original cap to avoid evaporation of the fluid

I was staggered that the store that sold the shaver [ OK-it was B***s] do not sell the very important replacements for the cleaner that it such a feature of this model. They seemed to have no interest in the steady revenue potential of people like me needing to pop by very few months to get a new cartridge! Well - Amazon did not disappoint! There it was and a good price too - so I bought a pack. The lack of instructions - neither the original nor the replacements explained the knack of getting the old one out without making a mess and there is no advice on recycling and it would seem desirable and economically worth accepting returns for refilling or else - best of all? - selling the fluid for users to refill the cleaning tank maybe? The repacement unit is fine! It is good to have a sanitised, clean, fresh-smelling shaver but if I had realised that it would be a chore to get refills etc. , I may have opted for another model and used tapwater! Amazon has made it simple to obtain and saved a lot of chasing round shops to find refills because it will not function without , once the shaver cleaner decides it is time to change the liquid!

This is a good product for cleaning Braun shavers when used with the SmartCare centre. Keeps the shaver clean.

I bought these after reading reviews that said they do not fit in the old cleaning unit, I was going to use them to refill the older design of cartridge, I tried one out of curiosity and they do fit but you have to guild them in carefully to make sure they fit correctly. Knocked a star off because they are still too expensive and should be refillable.
