This worked perfectly for a corset I was making. It does feel plasticy and it does fray a lot, but I've worked with this type of fabric before, so it was okay for me. It is very pretty and was the perfect thickness, texture, and weight for my project! The black on black floral pattern adds a nice element. I didn't try a burn test, but I suspect that it would melt if you ran a fire around it to prevent fraying, although that would be unsafe. I used my iron on the polyester setting and it didn't melt, so that's a positive.

The fabric seems like decent quality. I read reviews that it does fray. I purchased this to make a Christmas dress but I knew it was a 50/50 chance buying it without being able to feel it. It went on sale so I went ahead and got it. It definitely was stiffer than I was expecting or rather hopeing. I ended up not makeing the dress out of it yet, but we'll see. I may surge or zig-zag the edges and wash it to see if it softens at all. I may do a test price and even dry it to see if it melts at all in the dryer. If I wash and dry it it might soften a bit. Just know that this isn't soft and flowy like silk, it is stiffer and would be good for home decor (I may use it for that myself). It is a super pretty material though. Final thoughts are that it is nice but a little cheaper (but great for the price) and it is stiff. I would recommend just not for clothing. God bless!

Really easy to work with in terms of flexibility and complex parts, I used this fabric to reupholster my Project Cars interior and it came out really nice. I had to use contact cement to bond it to the trim pieces and it worked really well.

Nice amount of fabric for the cost. I tried to buy from Walmart it was more. Very pretty pattern.

Thinner than I expected. Snags easily, probably not a good choice for some lining applications such as pockets and handbags

This type of fabric tends to unravel at the edges but was the perfect thickness and had a decent pattern for the apron of my daughter’s Swiss Canton Bern costume…the trick is to do trifolds with iron-on hemming tape in the middle for all of the seams…it definitely takes longer to make a simple apron with this fabric, but the end result is the look we needed.

Color is nice. But that’s about it! Fabric is flimsy, the weave is loose so if you rub it or snag it, it separates and distorts. It also frays extremely easy. It’s basically a one-time use item.
