During a conversation with a friend, I had occasion to notice that she was sounding like her old self again - good humored, wry, witty -- after a long drought during which she had often been upset and tired. I asked if she'd changed anything recently, and she mentioned she's started taking methylene blue on a physician's recommendation. I did some research into the effects of Methylene blue, and promptly ordered a batch for myself, both liquid form and this pill capsule form. For I, too, had been not myself for a long while; concussions can have adverse effects that last for years. It wasn't just the memory loss, brain fog, and inability to concentrate that bothered me; the emotional lability was problematic. If there was a molecule that helped restore equanimity and higher order functions , I wanted to test it!!! Besides the side effect of blue urine, I definitely seem to benefit. I feel calmer, more rational, it's easier to see the bright side of situations and the best in people. It's not the same calm as ashwagandha's, which is more serene and meditative; with MB my brain feels analytical, and inclined to be amused by life. It definitely seems to appreciate the nutrient.

Methylene blue is hard to describe. The 1st time you take it kinda feels like you just arrived for the 1st morning, on a beautiful Caribbean vacation. Excitement, butterflies, vibrant colors. You get less of that intensity as time goes on from MB, but you’re still more focused, mental clarity, upbeat. It’s unlike any illicit drug, or pharmaceutical. It’s a clean feeling, with no “come down”. I will say, don’t take MB b4 bed, ya probably won’t sleep much. I take it in the morning. And don’t need to drink nearly as much coffee. The bluish urine is a thing, but on one capsule per day most people would notice only a slight change in urine color. Imagine micro dosing the most infinitesimal microscopic amount of psylocybin. Thats about the only way I can explain the affects. The only thing I don’t like about MB is I’ve yet to hear anybody truly explain why it actually works. All I know is that it does.

Not cost effective. * Methylene Blue (7 mg) - others sell in 14mg form. * Glycine (86 mg) - normal dose is 1000 to 3000mg. * N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) (86 mg) - normal dose is 600 to 1200mg * Creatine Monohydrate (86 mg) - 5 gummie dose is 5000mg * Hydrolyzed Collagen (258 mg) - 1 scoop of the powder is like 10,000mg ** obviously this is bought for the Methylene Blue but the other stuff seems really pointless. I bought this on a whim but once I looked I realized this is just marketing nonsense. 3 stars for the MB but that's it.

My focus improved, feeling less tired. I recommend giving it a shot.

I love this product, Blue Renew as it is easy to take a 7 mg capsule multiple times a day and I don't have to deal with the messiness of methylene blue liquid.
