Insta360 X4 Premium Lens Guards

Good quality.

I use my X4 on my motorcycles to capture behind me, which means stuff is being thrown from the tires or slipstreams past me, the X4 needs some good protection, and so far these have taken some abuse with no visible scratching or artifacts in the videos. The do a better job of glare reduction than the standard lens covers. So far very happy with my upgrade.

One of the Lens guards fell on the first ride; this is the second pair. I don’t recommend any lens guard by Insta 360. I have tried both, and it doesn’t work for motorcycles because of lock mechanism flaws, which cannot tolerate motorcycle vibration. Edit: Support contacted and investigated the issue and is in the process of fixing it; I will give five stars to support and will update here if the new lens guard, with their instructions, will last bumpy motorcycle rides.

Seems like a good product overall and it protects the lens well but I do think the picture was a little bit off even after changing the settings for it but overall good. My big issue is that one of them kept coming off no matter how I fit it in there and eventually it seemed that it stopped but the next thing I knew it was gone. Then today while riding the one that was even facing towards the wind flew off and now I need a new set.

Riding e-bikes and filming adventures is placing your X4 in potential danger of being damaged. The standard lens covers, I recommend over the premier, are a must have along with a good cage for the potential issues one could have out there. The standard lens covers are well made and don’t have much lens flare as the premiere covers and will protect your lenses from damage. A must have.

Absolutely worthless when it comes to durability. This "premium" lens guard will shatter, scratch, or crack with little-to-no force or impact. If the lens guard is in the mere presence of a rock, it seems like it will scratch. If you stare to sharply at it, it will crack. One of the lens guards shattered when it scraped (no drop, no forceful impact, scraped) on a rock when I was rock climbing. I have already gone through two pairs and they inevitably fail every time.

Great premium quality. the lens guard that I got out of the box got scratched during our vacation and it wasn't a big scratch but on the footage, it's noticeable. I went with the premium for replacement and I realized that I should've got one and instead of settling with the regular lens guard. It's pretty pricey but the feel of it is definitely worth it. It was a similar installation as the regular and it functions as expected. perfect fit for my Insta360 X4

Y dirás...que hago comprando esto cuando vienen incluidas en la cámara? Pues por que mi hermano, fue torpe y se le calló con el palo selfie incluido. Por suerte este protector se sacrificó por la lente, como esta diseñado para hacer jaja y ahora lo tengo rallado por la tierra. Así que aquí estoy gastando lo que vale, muy contento de no tener que tirar la cámara a la basura.
