Razor sharp, inexpensive, easy to swap. With a carbide steel pocket sharpener you can keep these blades workable for a very long time and make them last even longer. I find the factory edge is so fine that it’s easily curled but that’s what allows them to be shaving sharp. I’d love to see Outdoor Edge come out with different alloy blade options for better edge retention, etc. This would allow even more utility from the knives. The black blades also look really good with the handles. Great product, easy to recommend.

Real Outdoor Edge blades!

Good quality replacement blades for a good price. I use this knife for skinning large game animals, it makes the job much easier and faster. Theses are quality blades for the price.

They are very sharp but also do not last very long.

I have the VX2 knife, and these replacement blades are perfect. The knife itself is a great quality knife with G10 handles and a very easy and quick method of blade replacement. The actual blades themselves come in handy, I have the guthook blades in my hunting bag, the utility blades in my tool bag, I have these drop point blades in my car, in my “junk drawer” in the kitchen. I keep some in my garage as well. Anytime you use up a blade there’s no hassle sharpening it, just pop new one in and you’re using a brand new knife. It is also worth mentioning that these blades as replaceable and disposable as they are, they take a beating before they need replaced. For EDC purposes I have the drop point half serrated blade in, I have been using the same blade for over three months now and I have no need to replace it. I use it for general purposes, some work carving, scraping stickers, cutting open bags of soil, opening boxes, cutting rope, just basic use of knife stuff and these blades are built to last and the knife itself is durable and sturdy which is amazing when you have replaceable blades. Best in the market, way better than a standard utility knife!
