The string on this yoyo feels soft and durable. This is a good beginner to intermediate yoyo, and is easy to DNA with.

It has been many, many, many years since I used a yoyo. Last time I used a yoyo you bought a wooden one at the corner store and when the string broke the corner store also had a 5 pack of replacement strings. When I saw this Cheatcode Yoyo by Brandon Vu I decided why not give it a try again and so I decided to order it. Since it had been so long since I played with a yoyo I had the bring myself up to date with all the new technology. Last time I played with a yoyo there was no such things as responsive and unresponsive and there was no bearings. After watching a few videos it was time to give it a try. The Cheatcode comes set up as responsive with the thin bearing which is apparently the best for a beginner. It took me a little while before I was able to do some basic things with the yoyo but before long I was able to do simple tricks. This definitely did bring back some old childhood memories. After a few weeks I have been able to master a few tricks and am very happy with the quality and feel of the Cheatcode yoyo. I still have it set up as responsive and it will probably be for quite a while yet. I can't comment on how suitable this Cheatcode yoyo is for an experienced user but as a beginner it has worked well for me. Recommended. Priced at $39.99 at the time of this review.

This is a yoyo and works like how a yoyo should. It does not get knots or stuck when you throw it down and it very smoothly rolls itself back up. We use to play with these a lot in the year 2005

I recently purchased a plastic CHEATCODE yo-yo. After spending some time practicing I can confidently say it has exceeded all my expectations! The craftsmanship is very high quality for the price point.
