Excellent for learning/writing the Arabic alphabet
I'm using the RocketArabic course which focuses on conversational Arabic and deliberately minimizes dealing with learning a whole new alphabet. So I looked online for how to learn/read/write the alphabet. I believe this gentleman's YouTube videos are the best of all of them. He is very kind and very clear. He obviously has a lot of experience in teaching Arabic to English-speaking people. He doesn't assume that you want to convert to a new religion. His YouTube videos that I've seen so far deserve 5 stars. This book is a perfect fit to go with his YouTube lessons.

You must allot yourself time and patience too learn.
Salaams, I'd like to first say the book has been a blessing so far. I would like to say the author makes learning the alphabet easy and fun I just found a couple of things confusing let me explain. First when you finally start learning the short vowels and practice saying the vowel Kasra (i) which the author relates to bit for the sound of the i but it's really not a bi sound like bicycle or bike, the sound is more of an e sound like in bee. If you watch 3rd lesson on YouTube you will see what I mean. Also on page 13 when your going over all the alphabet with the short vowel and Hamza attached to them it's a typo in my book bc Jeem seems to be missing. Was this overlooked or did I get an outdated book. Is there any way to get in contact with the author? Other then that but I have to say I'm only on the third lesson the book is phenomenal, I wouldn't expect it to be error free it's not like it's the Quran. Allah Akbar!!!! Inshallah one day I will be able to read the Quran in arabic for myself.
