Not to happy with this !!! It’s very slow to respond to voice . Sometimes won’t play at all

I've been wanting an echo show for awhile now and finally purchased it. The set up was super easy other then me taking forever to figure out the microphone was muted by looking at the instructions it came with . Once I got it figured out it was a breeze to connect to our WiFi. It's super easy to use and navigate . I purchased it in glacier white &it looks great in the kitchen . I have to admit I was impressed by the sound it doesn't sound like a tin can at all. I haven't experienced any lagging at all. Alexa answers me right away and does what I ask. I decided to buy the used like new option and it came well packaged without any cosmetic damage . It literally looks brand new and it was a great price .

It glitches from time to time. I assume because it refurbished. I was easy to set up, the packaging was nice, and overall it looked fine. No issues connecting to the internet and it works well with my other Alexa devices.

It’s very easy to use. I love the news feature and how I am able to easily control the device. It is a great addition to my home and bargain. The size makes my counter not to cluttered which I appreciate.

1st time Buying used “like new” and I would have never known it was used. Even packaged as if new. I won’t ever hesitate to purchase a “like new” product again What a fun gadget to have. Easy set up for the tech savvy. Doable for the non tech savvy .

I bought the Echo Show 5 thinking it would basically work like my regular Alexa, but with a screen that could show useful information like the time, weather, timers, and smart home controls. I mostly wanted a smart alarm clock and bedside assistant. The problem is the screen is constantly rotating promotional content and suggestions. Instead of acting like a helpful smart clock, it feels like a small billboard on my nightstand. Even after turning off most of the home screen content in settings, it still regularly shows things like shopping suggestions and prompts to try new Alexa features. To be fair, I probably should have researched it more before buying, but I didn’t expect ads and promotional content to be such a big part of the experience. I just wanted something simple that showed the time and useful info unless I asked for something. The device works fine for voice control, alarms, and smart home commands, but the constant promotional screens really take away from what could have been a great bedside device. If you want a smart alarm clock with minimal distractions, this may not be the best choice. If you don’t mind the rotating suggestions and promos, it may not bother you as much.
