Can I just give 100 stars if I may so? Absolutely stunning colors, high quality. Very strong and pigmented. Can't say how gorgeous are the results. Absolutely stunning, with every penny. If you really want to do luxury projects, it's all worth it!

Arrived on time and securely packed. Great brand of paints and can’t wait to use them with my watercolours for Christmas cards. Good value for money. Easy to use , beautiful shine, varied colours.

Only just got these so still playing around with them. They are not priced high enough to deter me from trying, so why not? They are a nice addition to my art set. I think they work best with other watercolour. On their own they are a bit much and not really what we think of as watercolour. They don’t behave like watercolours. However, if you use them WITH watercolour, they do behave a little differently. For the price you can’t go wrong and I am tempted to buy more of their paints as they are very popular. I have attached an image of them over my Winsor & Newton watercolours so you can see how nicely they behave in that situation.

worth buying just for a few colours... the Cosmic blue is really lovely and perfect for the lead roof in this painting I did .

THE BEST paints I've used. I totally love Kuretake Waterolour paints and highly recommend them to all. The colours are truly wonderful and have this magical feeling when using them. They flow nicely, but also lend themselves into being controlled. The colours really are amazing, and the Starry Paints are a hidden bit of magic. I love to work in small and miniature, so making ACEO's and ATC's with Kuretake paints is a total pleasure, and anything I've painted using these paints, and blogged about, have always been well received by my followers - and in some cases, a couple of followers have gone on to buy these paints themselves. I've attached two photographs of the exact same ATC - which measure 2.5" x 3.5" - one photograph is taken with the flash and the other without the flash. This is to show the paint colours and how vibrant they are, and the photo with the flash is to show you how magical the Starry Watercolours are. They show up like you've painted tiny diamonds - but with the naked eye they aren't so 'in your face' as they are in the photograph taken with the flash. Sadly I'm not a great photographer, so the only way I could show you the Starry Watercolours was to do a photo with the flash on. At least it gives you an idea of what the starry paints can do. GREAT paints. Highly recommend.

What an interesting set of watercolour paints and good value for money. There is however a knack to using them, for good colour shift add more water than you think then wait, waiting is the key to colour seperation. Practice with the amount of water needed for depth of colour required.

The colors are not as bright as in the picture but they are absolutely amazing, they are more desaturated and earthy which I prefer

These paints are beyond beautiful and very magical. They are a a must have if you like granulation and colour separation.
