The tires are great, the tubes are cheap, but American tubes!
These are beefy tires with wide tread gripping the left and right as the tire spreads out when making contact with the road. No longer am I thrown left and right when encountering seams in the road surface, or ruts running the length of the road, or tarred cracks that cause the tire to slip slightly at high speeds. I'm riding a 26" electric bike with a tire only 1.95" wide, but now with these tires, my grip on the road is wider and has a more stabilizing effect. At high speeds of 25 MPH a thinner tire can be more dangerous. I had a bald back tire and I felt the road throwing my wheels left and right, due to my old tires. This kit was exactly what I needed and the price was right as well. I bought the two tire kit, with tubes and leveling tool to get them on and off, for only $43.00! I'm updating this review to warn perspective buyers to beware the tubes. Although the tires are rated for 30 to 80 PSI - the tubes are not! I used one of the tubes 8/30/2025 and pumped it up to 50 PSI(halfway point between 30 - 80 PSI), and the next day the tire was flat. The tube had blown out. Because it is an electric bike and all the wires and attachments are on the back wheel, the replacement of just the back wheel took over two hours. I will have to do the front tire tomorrow. But having road tested the back tire with an 8 mile run, I am satisfied these were the right purchase to correct the growing problem of a balding back tire. For this test I DID NOT use the tubes that came with the set. I used Goodyear heavy duty tubes. I would later(8/30/2025) need to replace one tube with a tube that had come with the set. Much to my chagrin, the tubes could not hold the same pressure threshold that the tires are made for. Don't inflate the accompanying tube more than 35 PSI, as they are cheap Chinese jobs. The tires are great though, and worth the money!

Nice, inexpensive tires
Tires and tubes shipped well. No issues mounting on vintage 26” rims. Nice aggressive tire tread and rolls pretty smoothly. Good utility tires for the price

Impressive quality
After installing the tire it seem to perform very nicely. The quality looks like it is better than the original tire.

10 miles on dirt. So far so good.
Great for the price. At first glance they looked way too big or I got the wrong size. But they fit fine. Replaced both front and back tires on my old mountain bike. 10 mile ride on dirt path. Smooth ride. Air stayed in.

This is such a good deal, I am convinced.
If you are updating an older mountain bike, these are the tires and tubes for you. They are fairly easy to put on and look great. They perform well, but are entry level as far as performance. However, they will work for 90% of the causal mtb riders out there. They ride smooth on pavement and make no noise. The included levers are garbage so just know that when you need to install them. Luckily, I had extras. I broke both without even trying. Update: The tubes won't last long. One already got a thorn or pinch flat (front tire), rear one is holding up. Luck of the draw I guess. Don't count on them. Have a patch kit or quality backup tubes just in case. If I had to do it over again, I would just get the tires. The deal was so good it almost doesn't even matter. I had to give them a try. I would suggest if you climb a lot to put the rear tire on backwards. It has a rotation arrow showing which way is forward. Backwards will give you more grip, forward will give you less rolling resistance and aerodynamics. If you don't climb much, straight should be fine. As far as the mtb tires go, they are still good value for money.

Works perfectly!
I was surprised when the tires came folded, but they didn't have any cracks or wear on them and upon opening, they quickly popped right out into a circle. They both fit on the bike quite easily and quickly.
