I use a fraction of a teaspoon of this in a cup of hot water. At such a small amount, I can understand why this bag says it is 66 servings. The flavor, quality, and consistency are excellent. While this is not as cheap as, say, beef or chicken bullion stock, it is neither a byproduct as those are, nor is it used in as great a quantity (even by measure per cup of stock). For my use, the price works.

First time trying this product and I did enjoy it with some foods but definitely not on others. As I become familiar with its taste my experience will be better. The lack of fifth star is due to my ignorance. I was looking to add more fermented foods for health reasons. This Miso does provide that.

I created a marinade by mixing the miso powder with dried minced garlic, cayenne pepper powder, and rice vinegar, and then covered the salmon portions before baking. The result? It's a dish that's not just delicious but also a testament to the quality of this miso powder! This miso powder is costly, but it contains 66 servings. I use two servings each time, which will last a few months. I highly recommend this Japanese Dry Miso Seasoning, Freeze-Dried Miso Powder!

Delish. Good quality not too salty at all . I will order again…. I added bone chicken broth , tofu, spinach and garlic . Delish, healthy and perfect for a cold winter day!

I prefer this dry to the paste (which is also delicious); it’s a personal preference. It’s tasty, simple to make, just add chopped green onions and tofu squares, or thinly sliced bok choy, mushrooms and glass noodles. Filling and healthy!
