This seems pretty well made. The glue pad is very strong - just make sure the surface is dry and grease free etc. It works well with most security cables, and gives peace of mind when using on a laptop when out & about. It's excellent value for what it is, and well worth getting.

GREAT PIECE OF KIT

It does what it says on the tin, at a good price but I would recommend spending a bit more to get a stronger cable core. The pin mechanism means no need for a key which I prefer. The articulated bits feel a bit loose but sturdy enough. One thing to check is your devices height, my laptop was thinner than the mechanism and so it props the laptop off the ground potentially leaving it prone to bending the laptop if weight were to be applied on top.

It's worth spending a couple of pounds more for this combination lock as it is in a different class from the cheaper one I bought which would not work at all.

Good price. The plastic is surprisingly strong, but can be cut to shape if needed. I found most laptop locks wobble a fair bit in this fitting, but they don't come out. Enough to deter a casual thief.

Setting up the code is easy. Fair price. Keeps my Mac safe at work. Looks strong enough

This lock does not fit on any Dell laptops or notebooks.

Great for laptops that have the new smaller lock port, but you still have the old, big-port style cable. Fits my old Kensington cable perfectly. Installation was easy. Peel and stick to the plate, then peel and stick to the device. The adhesive really does form a strong bond. I bought one for a work computer but after a few weeks the laptop died. Before handing it over, I tried to remove the plate with fingernails without luck. Then I tried dental floss, which often slices through emblem adhesives. Barely made a dent. It appears that it really is a high quality 3M glue. I didn't try a razor blade, figuring that'd take a while and result in me getting hurt. That's probably what a casual theif would conclude, as well.

En plastique dur, pas inviolable, mais très dissuasif. La colle est très forte. Je recommande.

Works well if you have no lock hole on your laptop. It is discrete and does not damage your laptop.

Se le ve de buena calidad, pero no me lo pude quedar y lo tuve que devolver porque no servía para mi modelo de ordenador. Mi modelo de ordenador tiene una ranura especial ultrafina, y hay que comprar los NanoSaver o MicroSaver. Así y todo se le veía de buena calidad para el precio que tenía.
