Good practice welding.

On initial inspection, this 12-piece welding practice coupon set is exactly as advertised. The steel is bright and clean, and the coupons appear to be precision-cut. One thing to note: the sheet arrived with a noticeable coating of tacky oil. This is likely applied to prevent rust during storage and shipping, but it will need to be cleaned thoroughly before welding. A quick wipe-down with solvent or degreaser should take care of it, but don’t plan to weld straight out of the package. Overall, the material looks uniform and well-suited for controlled practice work. If you’re looking for consistent training pieces rather than random scrap, this appears to be a solid option.

Fun little project. Make sure to turn voltage down on your welder. It's pretty small and thin metal. Overall it was a cool little welding sculpture for the price

Small but great tig projects. Will buy more to use and as gifts

6 small very , very thin pieces of metal. Easily burned through. Not sure I see their use even for a beginner.

Good little coupons to practice on but would suggest getting bigger ones and then working yourself down

Too small even though I read the dimensions I didn’t realize how hard it is to handle. I’d say that makes it great for practicing welds. I got aggravated with it though, melted through a couple of places, didn’t finish it. Better to get the kit with multiple ones to practice with. I wanted it as a little sculpture but it didn’t go together as I imagined. If I had several I’d try again til I get it right.
