Excellent primer on Social Security. I am collecting Social Security now, but I find the book a good review of all aspects of Social Security. Good review of all the basics. Feel I am better informed on Social Security.

For me, the Social Security Administration is an overly convoluted, unnecessarily complicated mass of bureaucracies. This book attempts to deliver an easy to understand “translation “ of the mindless forms and rules into plain English. And it mainly succeeds.

Great information and organized well. Straight talk with lots of explanations. Good references as well. I hope they keep this updated as changes come through.

Being new to Social Security, I really had a lot of questions, but unfortunately did not have the resources. I highly recommend this book if you’re looking for answers that are simple and easy to understand. Social Security Office will only give you so much but I highly recommend that you read this and other information. It really helped us.

The information provided was helpful but I had hoped for sample forms that were filled out. Even incomplete forms would have been helpful.
