Not a cheap toy at all...
No complaints here and I'm used to high end optics. You'll probably want a light, but these work exactly how they should. Revolutionary over the old helmet loupes we've all griped about for the last 3 decades...

Great in a pinch
Purchased these after having lasik done and needing to send my professional loupes out to be fitted without a prescription lenses. Honestly way better than I expected them to be for the price and pretty adjustable. My only issue was trying to clip on a light to them which was actually impossible due to the adjustment bars on the top- but for a few weeks they worked fine

good quality, if you want to work at just under arms length.
Seem to be good quality, though the instructions are poor. However, the focus distance is about 16 inches: I had intended to use them for close, detail work and this mandates arms length work. Not helpful in my case, though might be for others. The instructions make reference to focus knobs for each individual lens, but these do not have such knobs.

Not bad st all
I'm comparing these lopues to a near $2000 surgical loupe I had made for me by one of the big names in the field. I wanted a backup pair but did not want to pay those prices. Whats shocking is that these $40 loupes let in more light through than my professionally made pair. If you know anything about rifle scopes, for example, light transmission through the optic is even more important for clarity and image detail rather than magnification. Well, these inexpensive loupes are fantastic in letting in light through, very bright, very good image detail. I'm astounded. I would say the field of view is a bit smaller but that's likely due to the lenses being farther away from the eyes than regular through-the-lens professional loupes Makes one think that we are completely being overcharged by these bigger named brands. I do recommend these but others may find them "cheaply" made which I would say for $40, they are awesome.

Amazing!!
Bought these while my loupes were getting worked on. I attached my light to the clipon attachment that it came with and used that to still have my light. These are amazing. I was skeptical but these are seriously very close to my $1000 loupes I bought 9 years ago. If anything I would just buy these to have as a back up because we all know as dental hygienists how hard it is to work without that magnification. It took awhile to adjust the lens just right but adapted quickly on my first patient and was set the rest of the day. 10/10 recommend these for the price!!

Great backups for dental loupes
My wife had to send her expensive loupes to be fixed and needed a bridge to use at work. She is a dental hygienist, so she was really apprehensive about not having loupes, so we got on Amazon and ordered a few different pairs. These were the best and actually the least expensive. Really clear and nice magnification. I thought they were more forgiving than her Orascoptic loupes. They have a sweet spot that you have to focus in on or it will be blurry. With these, you don't have that, great vision. So, if you need loupes for dental hygiene, these are great for the price. The only small thing, which is why I gave 4 stars, is they aren't quite 2.5x, probably around 2x. Also, I've not tried to attach a light to it, but I think it would be possible.
