Bought as a gift for a 5 year old so can’t comment on colour change or durability. The item looks very appealing; bright colours and a nice mermaid Barbie with a range of accessories. Seems to have more play value than other mermaid Barbie’s I’ve seen in the past. My daughter wants me to buy her one now so I’m sure the gift will be enjoyed.
