LANOLIN 1 lb. USP Grade Anhydrous 100% Pure Skin Moisturizer

I ordered this for nighttime use to moisturize my nails. The lanolin is thick therefore it stays on my nail for longer periods. As stated I use this at nighttime and cover my hands with cotton gloves to keep the product on my hands/nails for more thorough moisturizing. I am hoping to help my dry brittle nails. This product can also be used in many home made, more natural moisturizing products or ointments. This product is thick and waxy...it does not rub on like a hand cream...it is meant to stay in contact to protect skin from the loss of moisture. It is beneficial for skin, hair, and is widely recommended for breastfeeding mothers experiencing nipple irritation. It is an all-natural product that closely replicates sebum oil that humans naturally secrete. It may be considered comparable to petroleum jelly, but I feel it is a bit more waxy. It provides a protective barrier on skin to reduce the loss of moisture by up to 98%.

It was thick and of great quality at a good price. It enhanced my skin naturally.

Nice and light colored, low odor. I bought the same product in 2023 (from the same Amazon listing), and was disappointed. It was dark in color and very smelly. This order (in October 2025) was exactly what I was looking for.

Seems to be Lanolin, not much odor, though I like the smell of Lanolin anyway. Priced very reasonable compared to most, use on hair (I have really dry hair) and especially for my beard and skin (I am really old, lower legs really dry). Does not have an address and does not really state origin. The company does have a website with a fair amount of products, so probably they buy the lanolin in bulk from somewhere? do they refine it? not much info on their website. I just do not want anything sourced from China on my body or in my body, China does not have a good record for honesty about these things.

I love to mix stuff up with lanolin. From hand balm to leather conditioner/waterproofing. If it's made of skin, this stuff will make it better. Only thing is that lately the smell has gotten progressively worse. I tried this brand and it is no better that the stuff I pay less for. The quality [minus the smell is top notch], but it is getting harder to put up with this awful smell. I have tried to mix in tea tree oil, Frankincense, cedar, sandalwood [i think works] and eucalyptus which made it worst along with frankincense [just awful]. I am going to try the patchouli oil, along with coconut butter and bees wax to make some lotion [oh I thin it down with either mineral oil or mineral spirit] depending on what I'm using it for. So you better be prepare for the petroleum jelly or machine oil smell.

Batch 250401 is fantastic! No odor and very smooth. Definitely ultra-refined.

Amazing. I purchased this years ago and I do remember it being darker. It is lighter and the scent is light, with a very normal Lanolin smell to it. This is a nice and thick high quality Lanolin. I would absolutely purchase again! Thank you.
