Not easy, not flashy — but a rite of passage for serious finance pros. Treat it like a bootcamp: tough, intense, but career-changing. 4 stars because the print quality is awful. The font is small, and the ink is so light it’s like the pages are trying to ghost you. After a couple hours, your eyes feel like you have been playing gta v for 6 straight hours. As Plato said “When the eyes of the body begin to weaken, the eyes of the soul begin to see.” And brother, by Volume 6, you're practically enlightened.

Paper quality and the print is worth for the spend and for the purpose.

While the CFA content is great, the printing quality on this version is poor. I am attaching a photo of a comparison of a 2020 version and the 2025 version. While the different looks small, the lighter color print (bottom 2025) is going to get your eye sore because it takes much more effort making out the words. Considering you are going to read 3000+ pages, I will recommend saving your eyes by getting a slightly older version but with better printing quality.

Get ready to strain your eyes. Horrible print quality for images. Pages are fine. Some of the content is laid out backwards. Syllabus is incoherent but with some amount of self-organization one can make sense of the content. Level 1 and Level 2 can be combined. It’s not that hard to move from one to another.

Hopeless quality for the price!!! The binding is so weak, it's not even binding really. Every paper comes out once it is turned over! I would've rather just taken print outs and studied if I wanted to study from lose page leaves!!!! It's not even color print! Can't read diagrams and graphs efficiently!

Amazing quality even though second handed

Ich habe mir das CFA Level I Curriculum 2025 Box Set direkt nach meiner Registrierung bestellt, da ich lieber mit gedrucktem Material arbeite als nur online. Die Lieferung kam schnell, und der erste Eindruck war positiv – stabile Box, saubere Verarbeitung, klar strukturierte Bücher. Inhaltlich ist das Curriculum wie immer sehr umfangreich. Es deckt alle zehn Themenbereiche ab, von Ethik bis Portfolio Management. Die Erklärungen sind meistens gut verständlich, vor allem, wenn man sich ernsthaft mit den Inhalten auseinandersetzt. Die Übungen am Ende jedes Kapitels sind hilfreich, um das Verständnis zu testen, allerdings hätte ich mir manchmal ausführlichere Lösungen gewünscht. Was mir nicht so gut gefällt: Die Bücher sind ziemlich schwer und unhandlich, was das Lernen unterwegs erschwert. Auch ist das Layout stellenweise sehr textlastig, ohne viele optische Auflockerungen. Manche Formulierungen wirken trocken, was das Durchhalten nicht gerade einfacher macht. Trotzdem: Wer sich ernsthaft auf das CFA-Examen vorbereiten will, kommt an diesem Set nicht vorbei. Es ist das offizielle Material – und das merkt man. Man bekommt hier die vollständige Bandbreite des Prüfungsstoffs. Kein Spaß-Lesen, aber ein solides Fundament für die Prüfung.
