Great jas, use them in yohurt making and has a wide enoght top to put a spoon in. Also you can substitute the gasket for a fresh freezer bag and screw the thread part of the lid on during fermentation, saves the gaskets for canning projects. Strdy, nice thick glasses, great value for money. CHeaper to buy individual Kilners than the mulit packs when on offer. Sturdy, easy to use, durable and dishwasher safer.

Great quality product from a quality brand been around for years easy to open and close when closed leaves an air tight seal ideal for pickling and other food preparation I use them for porridge fruit and nuts mixed with milk for work never had a issue or leaks

Jar itself is fine , lids though are getting rusty after couple of weeks of use (maybe because I chuck 'em in a dish washer) Perfect for overnight oats

Excellent jars for making and storing sauerkraut and kimchi but beware, glass jars are breakable!

Love these jars, they are just the right size for my chutneys. The wide mouth is great for filling, and they sit on top of each other well. Sturdy glass with measuring marks, which is microwave safe. They come well packaged. Will be buying more of these.

Perfect for my sourdough starter. The straight sides of this jar are rare on storage jars and they make it easy to keep the jar clean after removing discard or yields and adding feeds and the incrementations are perfect for monitoring how much the dough rises after each feed. The lid and collar are just right to loosen off, to allow gas pressure to release as the dough expands and ferments. The jar feels strong and sturdy and just right for storing and maintaining a 240g sourdough starter. Great value for money.

Lovely size jar, feels really sturdy and like all kilner jars feels unbreakable, really easy to use and the seal is water tight no leaks, loverly jar ive used mine for elderberries cordial

Aunque el tarro es de un cristal fuerte y de calidad, la tapa metálica, pasados unos meses se ha oxidado y deformado, por lo que es casi imposible roscarla y cerrar el tarro de forma hermética. Y luego para abrirlo es igualmente tortuoso. En mi caso, que lo quería para transportar líquidos en una mochila, no me sirve de nada. Lamentable que por ese precio tenga una tapa de tan pésima calidad.

Bottom broke off when I poured hot liquid in. Disappointing.

Ho comprato questo barattolo per il lievito madre, perché, così stretto e alto, gli dà la giusta spinta per farlo raddoppiare. Molto utili le tacche laterali di misurazione, sia il ml che in oz. Ho solamente una lieve difficoltà nel pulirlo alla base, perché è un po' stretto per fare arrivare in fondo la mia mano, ma riesco a pulirlo ugualmente, per esempio aiutando la spugnetta con una posata. Non sapevo e non era descritto che il coperchio fosse composto da due parti: la copertura e la fascetta di avvitatura.

Love my Kilner jars for an Iced Matcha Latte! Very durable, keeps my drink nice and cooled, very aesthetic pleasing to look at aswell! Downside about these jars are the lids, they tend to rust easily if water is left on the lid.

J'ai acheté un lot de 3 bocaux Kilner 500ml. Il y a des défauts de fabrication (voir le cercle sur l'arrière des bocaux) et le poids n'est pas consistant (voir aussi la difference de poids dans les photos). C'est dommage pour le prix que ça coute, ceci dit ça fait le job pour mon levain.
