The coloring on this cover is unique and rich. The band is cool. No shaping was needed. I took the advice of other customers and the seller and ordered a size larger (7 1/2 versus 7 3/8) and it fits great. I'm not an expert on materials but I researched the manufacturer and Resistol was one of the top manufactures listed in several comparisons. Been around for100 years and the brand is "ubiquitous" in Texas. That's good enough for a dude from Seattle!

The color of this cowboy hat is unique. I own many cowboy hats from various makers all of them are the same size. This is my third Resistol and this Resistal is the lowest in quality, compared to the other two. Another review indicated this hat runs small so I risked it and bought a size larger. Unbelievable this hat which is a size larger, is still very tight! I have steamed it to soften it up and wear it as long as able. I am a little concerned. Time will tell if I am finally able to fully break this one in so I can wear it all day. This is no $ 5,000 Stetson. You get what you pay for. Hopefully, this one will become my work hat. It is still a good looking cover.

The quality and look of the hat was perfect, but the creases were diagonal. Wearing the hat it falls over my right eye. Also, was asked to pay for shipping to return the product to which is not ok in my opinion.

Best hat our son has ever owned. He wears it every day - and we live in the Northeast!!
