I cried so much it pained my soul. But i would read it again. could not keep it down.

If Only I Had Told Her by Laura Nowlin is the sequel to 'If He Had Been With Me', which is known for its sad and heartbreaking love story of Finn and Autumn. The first book was devastating and equally aching to read about both these characters and other friends in the previous book. Well, this one is equally or even more sad and heartbreaking to deal with if you are very invested in these characters and love them. Of course, the book does have its equal share of TWs to check before diving into it, and also some questionable choices made by them (but hello? Nobody is perfect, and yes, that's my biased explanation). This book is told from three different POVs: Finn, Jack, and Autumn. Jack is Finn's best friend, and Autumn is his longlasting crush. Also, their 'The Mothers' have been best friends for ages, so naturally they all hang out together. One thing I want to take away from this book is the fact that as teenagers, we have all been confused and questioned about our friendships and surroundings at some point or another, and I feel this is true for Autumn as well. </3 Overall, this book was very slow as compared to the first one and equally repetitive as well. I did not understand the point of adding Jack's POV to this book, but it was a good addition from a friendship standpoint. Overall, I request everyone to first go read what the book is about and then dive into it because it is not for everyone.

Imagine being in love with someone, but never finding the courage to tell them. That's Finn's story. He's been secretly loving Autumn, the girl next door, for years. But he's already in a relationship with Sylvie, and the fear of hurting her keeps him silent. You'll relate to Finn's inner turmoil as he navigates his feelings. His best friend, Jack, sees the undeniable connection between Finn and Autumn and struggles with keeping his friend's secret. Autumn, meanwhile, is chasing her dreams and unaware of Finn's emotions.

It felt like a disappointment after the first book. Where the first book made me very for Finny and Autumn, this one made me cry for the lack of a point. It was very obvious that this was a book written to ride on the demand of the first one. Plus, editing left much to wish for. There are inconsistencies in the story. Read the first and leave it at that.

Books like this aren't usually my go to, but this one had me in tears. I don't think I've ever cried so hard over a book before in my life. I felt everything the characters felt whilst reading this. When they were sad, happy, feeling down. This book was written so well it had me laughing whilst crying. The only reason I don't give it all five stars is just because it was out of my genre and took a while for me to get into it. But once I was I was engrossed in the story.

If you love a good sad story that makes you ugly cry this is the read for you Will be hard to recover

Nice ending yoga sad situation. Fast paced. Easy quick read recommend reading book 1 first. Great characters. Highly recommend thus read
