Elementary and Middle School Mathematics: Teaching Developmentally

This book has a lot of strategies and activities. It's great not only for my education courses but to keep as a resource to refer back to and pull activities and ideas from in future lessons. It addresses ESOL and ESE needs of students learning math and how to be a "growth mindset" type of teacher.

I’ve found this text to be a great resource for a new teacher. I appreciate the research references and handy charts, as well as the abundant examples. It’s the best teaching text I’ve used in school.

Got the exact book I wanted and new. Disappointed to find it was boxed poorly and was bent by a second book I ordered. If I had wanted bent I would have ordered used.

How disappointing to pay over $90 for a new textbook and the front cover is on upside down and backwards. I have to flip my book to the back and turn it upside down to get to the text. I know its not a big deal, but for the price I'd expect better! I'd return it but my class starts tomorrow. I also have a feeling that the next book they send me would be the same. Pearson your production company stinks!
