This is one quality item! It is well made and sturdy enough to hold up to 300 lbs. The legs fold out and snap securely into place to form the step itself. Push pins allow you to customize the height you want from 6", 7" and up to 8" as needed. The pins are strong enough to hold the legs at your desired height. Another great feature is that the legs will fold in from each corner so you use the handle to store it out of the way using very little space so it would be good for anyone needing to maximize their storage space but also have a high quality product on a moment's notice. The platform on top has a slip resistance surface that makes it secure. The surface area is large enough for any adult to use with room to spare. No assembly required. Only unfold the legs right out of the box and you are ready to go.

I don't like writing reviews for something I recently bought just in case the product doesn't really hold up as advertised. This BONTEC 3-Level One Step Stool is an exception because it really is rugged. From my initial uses of it, I cannot imagine my opinion will change. If any part becomes defective, I will update this review because I keep track of what I review, and I do not want any product being represented in the wrong way. For the most common houseroom ceiling sizes, this adds just enough rise to reach and change ceiling lights, smoke detectors, and ceiling fans. add decorations along ceiling lines, and even put up and take down holiday decorations outside the home. The four legs easily unfold, and each can be extended (three positions). Likewise, each leg can be easily folded back (shorten any extending you did to fit). If you do not want to store it in the box, it is easy to move around because there is a strap handle on one of the long sides.

Great stool. It folds up to store, and the legs extend to adjust for height. It is stable and well made. We purchased this to be the bottom step for the attic stairwell. The stairs never had a bottom step to keep small children off the stairs and not be able to use the attic. We had a different stool for a bit, but it wasn't really tall enough to be comfortable to use. This stool was adjustable to the perfect height.

Use it for work all day long. I bought one of those plastic ones that supposed to hold 400 pounds and the plastic kept slipping, and I kept falling on my butt replace that one with another plastic one that folded that one kept falling apart. This one is sturdy, perfect height I would highly recommend purchasing it.

This is the perfect step for the new bed foundation and mattress I just got. The step is sturdy and easy to fold and put away when I want. The step is a comfortable height for getting into the bed.

I'm delighted with this stool...... For many years, I have using the plastic fold up step stools, but never felt very secure on them. I had one in each room I ordered just one of these stools, to compare, and the difference in sturdiness and quality is amazing. I feel completely safe while standing on it. Sadly, I have gained weight over the last couple of years - I am large, at approx 100kgs, 5ft 8, and this stool holds me really well. Have not felt unstable once. Dead easy to set up and fold back down, and takes hardly any room to store. As I say, I usually have one in each room, so will be ordering more of these ......and donating my plastic stools. These ones are much prettier looking too than the plastic stools I love that it has a grip on the standing plate, so less chance of slipping off. Also the grip makes it more comfortable to stand on I really can't say anything negative about this stool, really good build quality, great value, simple to use, and easy to store. Very happy to recommend
