Good Fake Security
I did have an issue, as other reviewers have had, with the supplied batteries being pretty useless. Might be old stock or just cheap. Otherwise this has been a clever little keypad we put on our RV door. I used some heavy duty hook and loop fastener to let me take it off easily for storage. I have had this on the outside of the RV door for about 2 months, in all kinds of weather and it is still going strong. The little red light blinks when you approach it in daylight and the green keypad is lit at night, all the time. I wish the full keypad light would react to motion and turn off after a minute or two to save battery but they haven't run down yet and all is well so far. Overall it gives a little extra feeling of security and perhaps it will deter curious people. We are happy with it.

Problem Resolved - Defective batteries
REVIEW CHANGED FROM 1 STAR to 5 STAR Item works perfectly as advertised after replacing batteries. The batteries were were defective and too small so they popped out of the tray. That was the entire problem all along. That is why nothing worked. The batteries were 1-2 mm smaller. So this was defective batteries the manufacturer was getting rid of. If you have the same problem just replace the batteries and everything will work. It's a great item and does exactly as advertised. I use this with a real camera system and it looks great at night. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Electrical manufacturing defect. Battery tray defect. No circuit connection OR Defective night sensor. The unit is defective. It does not work in "minutes" as advertised. You must remove the back cover held by a screw to install the 2 batteries. The batteries immediately pop out - because the tray and connectors are defective. The batteries do not stay put with the cover on. There is no way to make the batteries stay in the tray. You could add glue on the batteries. But there is no anchor. And even when the batteries are held in with the unit there is no electrical connection. No red light. No green light. The only reason I purchased this is because there is a green night light on the keypad! I tried contacting the seller and there is no reply. I expect a replacement or refund to be issued immediately.

LOOKS GOOD. FAIR PRICE. WORKS WELL ON INSTALLATION. USE "NEW" BATTERIES, NOT THOSE PROVIDED.
Really looks good and is easy to set up if you are careful. No instructions tell you how to access batteries or anything about it however. Once you remove the mounting panel, there's a shiny cover beneath that needs to be pried up gently from any side to show the batteries. Reacting to other reviews I installed new Duracell batteries and did not trust those that came with the pad. I can't wait to see how long they last being that the keys glow all night long and nights are pretty long right now. We'll see.

Great but better with a redesign
This thing is great but in my opinion they need to make it so you it just has the slowly blinking red led. It does not need the full lit keypad. The keypad being lit drains the battery. Batteries would last a long time if it only powered the red led. Or make it so the keypad lights up only after a key is pushed.

Outdated goods and no customer service.
I got these, and they didn't work. And after Both of them didn't work. Then, I looked at the date on the batteries. And they were 5 years old. So that means they were 15 years old. And so I call the number for saber, and all they do is recording after recording.Trying to sell you something bad, bad bad

Batteries drain quickly
It has a convincing appearance, but battery life is short.

Keypad works great
I bought this for an added level of "security" in my house. I put it at my back door where it can be seen from the door's window. It has a flashing red light during the day and it lights green at night. I love that it requires two triple A batteries. It's also light enough that you don't have to make holes in your wall. You can use a 3M adhesive to hang it. The price is great too.
