Bought this suit for my dogs spay recovery. I bought a large and it fits my slim 23kg Labrador well (she'sa small petite lab). I thought it might be a bit tight at first but once on it stretches nicely. It covers the wound well so she can't lick it and is a little baggy in the wound area which is good as it doesn't rub. Light weight material, perfect when it's warm weather. Washes really well - I bought two and change daily. The velcro straps at the back are great for toileting, I just stick them to the side just to be safe but it looks like you don't have too and they can toilet without undoing. I got my dog used to wearing the suit prior to the spay and she's been fine in it. Good price and quick delivery.

My 12k collie cross girl is long and low, I roughly compare her to a springer spaniel when buying coats. She has has major abdominal surgery and has been clipped on her entire abdomen and up one side, I bought this to help keep her away from her stitches which go centrally right down to her groin and also to keep her warm having has so much of her coat removed. I ordered the medium based on other reviews and photos which were really helpful, without these I would have ordered the large which strictly speaking is her size by inches, but it would have been too big. I was skeptical when I opened the pack but it fits perfectly, nice and snug (which it needs to be) but not pulling anywhere, it does stretch a little. We came home from the vets with several of their surgical body suits which are lovely but you have to undo them every time the dog needs to go to the toilet which can be a fiddle especially if they are a bit wobbly and it is still a bit hit and miss! This Axcimond suit does not need to be taken off (my dog is a girl so can't comment for boys), again I was skeptical, but it really does work! I think the fit is important again here and probably if it is baggy you may find it gets soiled as you need it to be snug, it is very clever how it naturally opens up at the back as they squat. I'm going to be using this for some time, not because of stitches, they come out tomorrow, but just for a little bit of warmth and comfort where her coat is shaved, and as a great liner for her outdoor coat which tends to stand a bit proud at the back and not keep her warm there. It is so light, it washes and dries easily, and won't overheat them. My second order has just gone in and there may be a third!

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Very good product and works exactly as described! The Axcimond Dog Surgery Recovery Suit did a great job protecting my dog after surgery and completely stopped her from licking the wound. It’s a much better and more comfortable alternative to wearing a cone, and she was able to move around and rest without any issues. The material is soft, breathable, and easy to put on, which made things much less stressful during recovery. The only small downside is that after a few days of continuous wear, it did stretch slightly, but after washing it, the fabric tightened back up again. In hindsight, I probably should’ve bought two to alternate between washes — that would have solved the issue completely. Overall though, it’s a very well-designed and practical product that really helps with post-surgery care. Great value for money and one I’d definitely recommend to other pet owners — just consider buying a spare if your dog will be wearing it for several days in a row.

I have an older, awkward shaped heinz dog (13 years old) she a lab x dachshund- so she has stumpy legs but long, broad back and shoulders like a lab. She was hard to measure and the first one of these I ordered which was according to her length, was okay at first but stretched over night and her little legs kept getting stuck in it and resulting in it sliding off her body... so I ordered her 2 sizes down the next day which fits her chest etc, but is a little short in length.... its not really the vests fault, its the shape of my old girl. Anyway, it was purchased because Winnie has internal and external tumours and so had some major surgeries and she was bumping into everything and tripping over with the donut on, plus she wasnt sleeping very well in the donut. This vest is great and the velcro around the bottom means it can be undone and slid up for wee breaks. There is a little extra material along the under carriage which is a nice touch to keep wounds protected, especially with a low rider like Winnie! The old girlie isnt predicted to make it through winter but I can see this being a god send to keep the chill off for the time she does make it, especially now she has had lots of hair removed thats unlikely to grow back.

This was the first onesie I have gotten my dog, and I'm very happy with the decision. It fits him very well considering he is very fluffy. He is comfortable and biting himself less. Make sure you measure your baby first for the proper size. Just a reminder that there is no hole for them to do their business. We unfortunately realized that too late and noticed the whole underside of his belly/onesie was drenched from pee. Had to wash it the first hour we had it on him.lol. So just make sure you take it off them or cut a hole for them to go.

Brilliant little suit perfect for our dog who has been spayed. I got this to swap with the Mpi suit we got off the vet so she has one to wear while the other is being washed. I actually prefer this one it has a very clever little opening at the back (shown in pic) she can go to the toilet without undoing the velcro . It is very well made and washes well. At first I got her a medium but it was way too small the large fits her perfect she is a small lurcher 15kg. The colour is a little darker than in the photos. I guess it is comfortable for her to wear as she is happy wearing it.

J’en ai eu 3 body différents pour convalescence spitz petite 27 cm hauteur. C’est celui ci qui est vraiment top : lavage séchoir ne bouge pas et la femelle peut aller à selles et uriner sans devoir bouger l’arrière 🤩je conseil fortement vu qualité et aspect pratique (2 c’est mieux pour lavage)

Sehr zufrieden! Der OP-Body für Hunde passt perfekt, die Größe entspricht genau. Unsere Hündin wurde gestern sterilisiert und der Body sitzt sehr bequem. Sie kann problemlos urinieren und Kot absetzen, ohne ihn auszuziehen. Angenehmer Stoff, keine Knöpfe oder Reißverschlüsse - nichts kann die Naht reizen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
