Just learning to play (2 months) and dropped two Yamaha 4c on my tile floor and broke them so I knew I needed something that would be more durable. Granted the size is a big jump for a beginner and it took a while to figure out reed placement to get the thing to work for me but when I get it right the resonance through the horn penetrates my soul. Apart from the Yamaha pieces I have nothing else to compare it to. But big sound. And didn’t break when I dropped it. As with most things in life it’s the operator not the equipment that gives the results.

When I first bought this about 6 years ago, I thought it was a bit hard to play. But it was fine. I kept using the one I was used to. Ingot this out today and really like the sound. I also find it easy to play now that I have more experience.

The new mouthpiece didn't make any difference in sound when I put it on the new Alto saxophon that I had recently bought. The only mouthpiece that worked with the new saxophone was the one that came with it. I also placed the new mouthpiece on my old saxophone and it did not work on that one either. I don't understand what's wrong with it, however I am going to have to just look at it as a wasted purchase.

I dislike everything about this mouthpiece. It’s terrible in all categories. It’s too small, doesn’t play right, too small for a reed. It’s even too small to fix onto the heck of the alto sax. I really hope u can get my money back.
