Probably best in class
Detailed Review of the UGREEN Revodok Thunderbolt 4 DockI recently purchased the UGREEN Revodok Thunderbolt 4 Dock, and after several weeks of use, I can confidently say it is an excellent product, especially at its price point of £250. This dock stands out for its value, performance, and build quality, making it an outstanding choice for anyone seeking a reliable Thunderbolt 4 solution.Key Features and Performance2.5 Gigabit Ethernet PortThe inclusion of a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port is a fantastic feature, offering blazing-fast network speeds for those who rely on stable, high-bandwidth wired connections. This addition is particularly valuable for professionals who need dependable performance for tasks like video conferencing, large file transfers, or remote work setups.92W Power DeliveryThe dock delivers 92 watts of power to my laptop, which is more than sufficient for my MacBook. This ensures that my laptop stays charged even during demanding workloads, such as video editing or running multiple virtual machines. The power delivery is consistent, and I have had no issues with charging interruptions.Thermal ManagementOne thing I was concerned about was overheating, but I’m pleased to report that the unit stays cool even under heavy usage. The dock's thermal management system works effectively, so it’s suitable for extended work sessions without any performance throttling or excessive heat buildup.Compact and Durable DesignThe dock’s compact size makes it easy to integrate into any workspace, and its sturdy build quality exudes reliability. UGREEN has established a reputation for creating dependable products, and this dock is no exception. The materials feel premium, and the design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.Comparison with the Caldigit TS4The only true rival to the UGREEN Revodok in this category is the Caldigit TS4. While the Caldigit TS4 offers two additional USB-A ports and one extra USB-C port, these differences are relatively minor for most users. Functionally, the UGREEN dock delivers almost everything the TS4 does, at a significantly lower price point. Unless you specifically need the extra ports, there’s little reason to choose the Caldigit over the UGREEN Revodok.Overall ValueAt £250, the UGREEN Revodok is an incredible deal. It delivers high-end features like Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, and 92W power delivery at a price significantly lower than comparable docks. The performance, coupled with its compact design and excellent build quality, makes it a top choice for professionals and power users.Final ThoughtsI have absolutely no complaints about the UGREEN Revodok Thunderbolt 4 Dock. It’s a well-rounded product that meets all my needs and more. If you’re in the market for a reliable Thunderbolt 4 dock that won’t break the bank, this is the one to get. UGREEN has once again delivered a product that combines functionality, quality, and affordability into one excellent package.

impressive build quality.
A Thunderbolt 4 hub made sense after I bought a new MBP M4. I mostly needed to connect Thunderbolt displays and RAIDS, plus laptop charging and ethernet. I also wanted to future-proof my set up so that I could use 2.5gbps when full fibre internet become available locally. Hence, the UGREEN Revodock was one of two candidates and is considerably cheaper currently (37% discount) than the Caldigit 4. The UGreen Revodock arrived beautifully packed. It has exemplary build quality, very comparable to black Apple MBPs. I plugged everything together, powered up the UPS, clicked accept UGREEN device and it all works! Really well! The Revodock specs show up as claimed. The displays are crystal clear with zero hesitation. The transfers speeds are good, it stays cool in use and cables don't budge it (because it is so heavy). So far so good. Two minor gripes are that the minimalist power LED could be brighter and the output lead for the power brick could be tad longer. Nevertheless, it comfortably earns four-stars for now and five when I know how reliable it is.

Display Port Does Not Work!
This is a beautiful docking station, but alas!, the display port DOES not work. I bought 2 of these docking stations and both Display Ports do not work with my Windows laptops. Very disappointed!

Great docking station
I’m really happy with this product! It works perfectly with my MacBook Pro, offering seamless connectivity and great performance. The compact design and reliable functionality make it a fantastic addition to my setup. The only minor downside is the lack of an HDMI port, but overall, it’s a solid and well-built product. Highly recommend it for MacBook users!

Compact
This is a very solid device, and weighty too, so it stays firmly in place. There’s plenty of ports, and a good variety of different types which has helped with all the devices I have around the M4 Mac mini.I have three external hard drives, an Apple DVD burner, and a 4K monitor all attached to the Mac either directly, or through the docking station. The only reason for not giving it a five star rating is, the light that shows the docking station is powered on, is almost invisible to see in daylight.iGreen, please make it brighter for future buyers.Apart from that minor issue I highly recommend this product… iGreen truly make great devices. This one was especially good due to the price reduction I was offered.

Good complement to MacBook Air
Moving from a Mac Mini with external monitor to a MacBook Air left me short of ports to connect my external drives (for data and Time Machine) and printers. This appeared to fit the bill, and hasn't disappointed. Its solidly built, doesn't get hot and has a good arrray of USB/Thunderbolt ports and also an SD card reader.I havent checked data speeds etc but it seems to work pretty well transferring big RAW files into Lightroom and for general use. Also means I can connect my non WiFi printers. Not the cheapest Thunderbolt Dock around, but certainly works as promised.

Spec, Build Quality & Functionality . . . You won’t be disappointed
Managed to pick this up on an Amazon Deal, and wow, what a bit of kit. I’ve been battling with a high end laptop Zenbook UX8402VE with only 2 high speed USB type C 3.2, thunderbolt 4 connections, although this Dock offers far higher Type C USB 4-40Gbps connectivity, I know the Ugreen USB Dock will never be the “bottle neck” to my setup. Plenty of useful, well placed & thought out connectivity options & speeds. Highly recommended.
