Not only does this book contain useful information about various sights and things to do, alongside beautiful images, it also provides helpful detail on how to get to each place. Navigating public transport in an unfamiliar place is never easy so this is very helpful! The book also contains some suggested itineraries for trips of different lengths, which we will probably use as a starting point for our trip. Like other DK guides I have owned, a very good book, and small enough to carry around. Review: DK Japan. Having been used to buying DK guides over the years and preferring them over Rough Guides I can say without reservation that this one lives up to the usual quality. It’s well printed, reasonably concise and full of lovely photos and clear illustrations.

Great guide
This seems to be quite a clear and concise guide. I am using it to plan a 2 week trip to Japan at some point. This guide has suggestions such as itineraries and places to visit. I would recommend this for anyone looking to visit Japan.

The most recent edition of DK Japan includes interesting information that is useful to plan a trip to Japan or to learn details about Japanese Geography, Culture and Architecture. It contains precise maps and beautiful pictures. A very good buy.
